  • Well, Rob and I have finished our TT-02 and XV-01 versions of the Lancia Delta Integrale - this video is just a sneaky peek of the comparison runs to come - Can you tell which is the XV and which is the TT? I will leave you to make up your minds! Have fun and thanks for watching!
    Both cars are totally stock - except the TT-02 has been fitted with full metal roller bearings.
    Rob has recently bought his TT-02 Lancia, why not pop over to his channel and take a look at his unboxing, build and first run videos here: / @robbrennanrc

      Haha - not you as well Derek!!! I am going to be hounded about my big wobbly antenna! I cant help it if it waves about in the breeze, it's just so long! Love it mate - thanks for the fun comment, nice to read you again! ;))

    Nice one Mark, they both look great. I can tell the difference because yours has a big wibbly wobbly aerial off of the olden days 😀. Look forward to seeing more of these two lovely motors.

    • @MarkBryanRC
      @MarkBryanRC  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Pete me mate! Haha - this aerial joke is gonna run and run, I can just feel it!!! I was going to remark about how upset I was that you kept mocking my beautiful, cherished, ancient vintage Acoms radio!!! But the I realised that you would see straight through my joke - So I'll just have to find some extra-long aerial tubes - I was thinking about 6 feet long?
      Thanks for the comment, made me smile on this sunny Saturday morning! Have a good 'un mate! :))

      @@MarkBryanRC Well if you like to have your long one waving around in the breeze then go for it mate 😀. Hey on the subject of old radio gear I took that old Mini out for a run the other day. It was a right laugh. It was even able to drive on the short grass despite being very low to the ground and having road tyres. I found it a bit tricky with the old Acoms stick radio and analogue speed controller. Keep forgetting that the speed controller just goes straight from forwards to backwards without a brake like the electronic ones. Anyway it was good fun and on the speed test it got up to 17mph! Not much footage so far. Need to go back out. Aqroshot won that day at 36mph. Don't think anything will beat the Firestorm the previous time at 52mph!

    • @MarkBryanRC
      @MarkBryanRC  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Waving in the cool air as we speak! :)) That Mini must have been fun, I remember loving the way you could go from flat-out forward and band it into full reverse - spin city!!! 17mph ain't bad, I think mine managed 21mph with a torque tuned motor and a cheap ESC. Great speed out of the Aqroshot - are we gonna see it on YT soon? + I don't fancy any Tamiya at 50+ mph - TOO SCARY!!!

    Ahh man you have twins 👌 that must be so much fun ripping 2 of these! Different or not it's about the look as much as the driving with rc's like this 👊👍 it was hard to see any difference at the beginning until you slowed it down and then you can see one is clearly far more settled through the turns and bump's, they still both rip around though very nice video 👍👍

    • @MarkBryanRC
      @MarkBryanRC  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers for the great comment, Paul ! I totally agree - it's the realistic scale looks of these rally cars that has so much appeal - I've just finished a Subaru Mexico on a TA-02 that looks stunning too - can't wait to get all 3 running together! Yeah, these 2 both rip nicely - but the TT-02 is gonna rip even better with new shocks installed. We are both probably gonna fit brushless later on, and see what difference a little speed makes! Thanks again pal, hope the weekend is good :))

    Which is which ? Mystery solved ! I do believe the TT-O2 has a cockpit set installed ;-) but soon so will the XV, by then I won't have a clue. Great video guys, seeing 2 Lancias on one screen was a joy - just as one leaves the other one arrives so never a dull moment. A big thumbs up...👍.

      Hehe Cosmo! You are too clever! Yeah, Rob's TT has the cockpit, and mine is still waiting to be painted! But I think you can also tell from the bouncy ride... Mark.... That was a bit of a challenge at first, I just saw two "identical" cars twisting around Trees. 😵
    Then, as the Camera started moving in, one looked like the tail can be flicked out with some degree of authority...
    The other just looked tail happy, wagging about.... MUCH LIKE my TT-02 on rutted ground!!
    THAT was my first giveaway.
    Then I also remember that you seem to like the old AM Radios... The one that had the BIG, wonky Antenna, was yours!! 😜
    It was difficult at first. I KNEW that XV-01 was going to have better Suspension!

      Great comment, Car-Mine!!! Yes, I thought it would be fun to say nothing at this point, and get the viewers to really look at how the cars tackled that little course. You are spot-on mate, but then you do know your RCs! Haha - yeah, you got me with the wobbly antenna too :))
      As I have said in other comments, the 2 cars are very different to drive, the TT has so much bump-steer and is very twitchy, whereas the XV is much more forgiving and compliant. Things will soon change when Rob starts fitting his upgrade parts though!
      Thanks for the support mate, appreciated!
      Mark..

      I proudly Support you. You're a good Man! There's not many of us left....
      Things are getting frustrating with my Wife's care.... ALL this time, and insurance STILL hasn't approved an Oncologist!!! 😬😬😬😵😣😣😭 If anything happens to her, because of Obamacrap - you'll likely then see me on BBC News!!!! 😱
      And it won't be pretty.
      That, and we're down to our last $30.... in the whole world! That's it. Rock bottom is in sight. I'd be lying if I said that I'm not scared White.

    Hi Mark ! Nice Video , nice cars and nice music ! The riddle is quite simple to solve, because out of 2 reasons
    1. The XV-01 is the faster Car 2. The XV-01 is the AIRBUBBLEFREE DECAL CAR !
    So the XV-01 is the antenna Car.
    Am i right ?
    Cheers from Berlin

    Such a great idea! Hard to see which is which, body wise, but I’m guessing the one with the bouncy rear end is the TT-02B 😄

    • @MarkBryanRC
      @MarkBryanRC  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Mikael - you got it in one mate! There are quite a few differences, as I hope to show later, but the friction shocks are the biggest give-away. As soon as the oil dampers are fitted though, I think it's gonna be a very different story, the TT-02 is a fine handling car and will only get better! Cheers for the comment my friend, I hope your weekend is good! :-)

    • @NordicRC
      @NordicRC 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, the friction shocks reveals it, but I guess they also feel very different when running them. Would love if you included some after-run thoughts/talk too in the future videos. Sometimes the feeling you get as a driver, of the handling etc., isn't too visual apparent in videos. Looking very much forward seeing the future videos and also seeing the TT-02B with oil shocks. Hope you're enjoying your weekend too.

      Thanks mate - I will definitely do a thorough review later on - I just wanted to give a little preview of what's to come, and a little fun by not making any judgements at this point! You are so right, it can be hard to see just from a video just how well a car runs, and the "feel", well, you can only say it in words! I'm enjoying this little comparison thing and we have only just begun! I need to enjoy this weekend mate - back to school on Monday after a very long time on holiday!

    😲👍Two awesome BEAUTIES at once!!! I think the front motor chassis fish tails around more from what I seen and heard and the tt02 handles more like a on road which is actually better but for rally the front motor chassis rips sideways nice.... is this correct or am I wrong?

      @MarkBryanRC  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the super comment, Steve! You have a very good eye for a good handling RC mate! Your words are spot-on! Yeah, the XV does fishtail, but is kinda controllable, rather than a tail heavy car that will just spin-out. Good call my friend - you called it right! :))

If you have any comments or questions, please feel free to give me a shout and I'll get back to you. Thanks very much for the sub mate! I only started the channel a year ago, so please forgive some of the earlier videos, but I'm learning fast and hope to keep improving, lots of new stuff to come. The issue with the servo depends on the distance between the mounting points and the end of the servo output shaft, mine was too long! It may be that the one you have is shorter and will fit - but you will find out soon! Thanks again and good luck with your new project :-)
