We’re very active in special Olympics. We’ve had a ton of kids through the years staying or living at our home. Along with that comes the parents. The stories you hear from these kids break your heart. Some don’t wanna go home. You can tell in a different environment they would thrive. I by no means have the perfect home but it’s safe in a safe small town and we love our kids. That’s about all you can ask for. Have a good holiday Tristan.

I loved your podcast and I understand the editing, etc but where times that things got confused with questions then the spending and then coming back. For example; when you ask her about her childhood and she say when she did use it for the first would be a great opportunity to she take us how it was till her adult life, traumas etc. You changed the “subject” and then come back with questions that could have been answered from the first one 😊 just a observation ❤

I’ll be the first to admit I was a shitty mom. I thank God my kids had an amazing Dad and families that stepped up to the plate when I failed. I’ve paid what I think is the ultimate price for my drug use. I didn’t get my kids back after I was released from prison. Losing my kids is a life sentence. Nobodies fault but mine. But ya know what is badass. That I’m not that shitty mom anymore. That my kids know more love and are so well taken care of, with everything they need. I’m good with that. People make mistakes, it’s learning from those mistakes to do better, be a better person. That’s badass.

Ian once the feds get involved and they decide they want you they basically not going to stop until they get their pound of flesh. Just the amount of money they spent trying to track her down with multiple teams is ridiculous. I dont see how they justify the money but that the federal government for you. Edit i just though about it and realized that a lot of these task forces and agencies use civil asset forfeitures to make a ton of money so there is that .
It amazes me how naive Ian is. Most people come out of prison having heard and seen it all. I lived near Big Pine Key and did a lot of fishing from Okechobee to The Everglades and in and around the keys, The good ol’ boys on the banks of Okechobee are no joke, them boys are real deal, Matt is 100 percent different. Hunt , fish swim, wrestle gators, mess with the Indians, ride manatees, feed fried chicken to Tarpon, catch huge Large Mouth bass, chase bonefish, snook and permit. Bait and hunt hogs. Play with key deer, Look for square grouper, chance the Florida lobster, get stuck in the reeds with the airboat, look for Meglafon teeth.

It amazes me how naive Ian is. Most people come out of prison having heard and seen it all. I lived near Big Pine Key and did a lot of fishing from Okechobee to The Everglades and in and around the keys, The good ol’ boys on the banks of Okechobee are no joke, them boys are real deal, Matt is 100 percent different. Hunt , fish swim, wrestle gators, mess with the Indians, ride manatees, feed fried chicken to Tarpon, catch huge Large Mouth bass, chase bonefish, snook and permit. Bait and hunt hogs. Play with key deer, Look for square grouper, chance the Florida lobster, get stuck in the reeds with the airboat, look for Meglafon teeth.
