Tan Koon Swan was conferred the title of "Tan Sri" in Malaysia after being a convicted swindler and crook. What a big slap on the faces of the financial regulator and Pan El's minority shareholders in Singapore 😂😂
I luv 💞😅❤ the plot, the good-looking actors/actresses, the professional film crew, old-fashioned props used, the scenes' makeover dating back to the 1980s, Art Director's videography techniques, the intense, suspensive drama and music used, and the soundFX + post-production editing. I was only a small toddler then, but I always wanted to gain knowledge of what actually happened then for a real-life intriguing, yet momentous event that affected society, especially the Stock Exchange of Singapore (SES as it was abbrev. then)! 😂👍🏼
Great Tv. Not easy to tell a story like that in 2 hours. Kudos to writing and editing, but maybe the acting needs to be reined in a little. Do more of such shows in future. Educational but with a nice cinematic twist.
A forward contract can indirectly contribute to a higher share price by signaling positive market sentiment about a company's future prospects, as when a trader buys a forward contract on a stock, it indicates their belief that the share price will rise in the future, which can encourage other investors to buy the stock, driving the price up; essentially, the act of entering into a forward contract can be seen as a vote of confidence in the company's future performance, which can positively influence the market perception and thus the share price.
When you are bullish (expecting prices to rise), you will want to long (buy) a forward contract, this will help you lock in price now (which is lower than the price in future) should you expectation be correct.
I worked in AAS in 1973 just before i enlisted to NS in January 1974 .. yes Peter Tham was my boss ..what a memory this show brings me.

#Legendary movie type of vibe, Love it!
this is too complicated and really hard to follow with its jargons and acronyms
the ending gave me goosebump... who's next? btc? nvidia? bank defaulting?
Tesla?
How does the forward contracts make the share price go higher and higher?

Acting is good. Script writing makes it better.
No it's cringe and dialogue is terrible
what is the end credit song title
Show Me Your Smile
Song by Dan Ayalon
Kudos @cnainsider! Video can rival the Wolves of Wallstreet movie. Too many light flare effects though, macam Star Trek movie.

Cheesy writing
