One more important thing is that I would definitely suggest anyone looking to buy a laptop to hold on, if it's not necessary right now. There's so much stuff coming out this year. Intel is going to announce their desktop GPUs at the end of this month and their mobile stuff is already coming out and then amd is supposed to announce rdna2 integrated graphics that's probably even more powerful than MX 450 dedicated cards(rdna2 is the same architecture in PS5 and xbox series x ) . Even if you don't game having a powerful integrated graphics in an ultrabook can be very good for people who need ultrabooks but are casual gamers or need casual stuff from time to time. For gamers , nvidia is going to announce 40 series which according to rumours is almost 2x the performance of the current stuff. Even if you don't want 40 series , 40 series should probably reduce the price of 30 series stuff . Also for people who need an all rounder for productivity and efficiency (not gaming tho) at around 80k M2 air might be coming out but tbh M1 Air is just so good M2 won't be anywhere near as affordable so you could actually be very well off with getting an M1 Air at around 75-80k. If you're a casual user whose budget is around 30-40k, tbh there's not much I can say , but at this budget it mostly depends on your user case. Pro tip: you can save some money by not going with a laptop with pre installed windows if there is a variant with dos or Linux at a lower price. You can download the latest windows iso from Microsoft official website and you can use it without issues for 30 days , after 30 days the only limitation you will have is you won't be allowed to change wallpaper and the activate windows watermark will be there, if those aren't an issue for you you can go with this, and if you want to buy it anyway you can spend the money you saved at laptop purchase to get a windows key at any later time

My main complaint is why budget laptops come in 15/15.6 inch size. I want a 13.3 inch laptop with budget specs and just can't find any. Smaller screen will mean less battery drain, and for students like me, we need something smaller to carry and a better battery life.

According to you which is the best reasonable laptop in terms of processor, memory, minimum 512GB storage and I/O ports?
I have an 8 yr old desktop pc having 3rd gen core i3 processor. installed an ssd onto it and it runs through all the basic stuff 😂 For basic users as long as you get a laptop with an SSD you're safe i guess. even if you're broke dont buy a lap with only HDD
mine can still run those old games with the in-built intel graphics and 8 gb ram, we can edit 720 or 1080p videos, edit photos 😅 All the windows apps open really fast. Installed libre office which also works really well
GPUs are not just used by content creators and gamers anymore. I use my GPU for Machine learning and AI models. You need high CUDA cores for that. Graphic design, 3D simulation, Crypto mining, high parallel computation in OpenCV etc. For video editing I can use my smartphone too now a days. Anyhow video was nice.

Don't buy mi notebook, it might be good specwise (idk the exact specifications) but for a laptop unlike smartphones after sales and reliability is very important in my experience and I would suggest buying an hp or a Dell(or any other reputable brand ) . I checked the laptop and the only good thing i can see about it is the screen. Intel 11th gen is pretty bad compared to ryzen 5000 series and unless you specifically want Intel iris xe or the screen ryzen is much better in performance and efficiency.
If you don’t care about OS and need a very good laptop within 1 lakh budget with great overall experience like display, performance speakers etc M1 MacBook Air is the best. If you gono buy m1 mba just wait to October you can get m2 MBA
You basically listed all features, like a long Wikipedia page. I thought it would be about the nitpickings and rants from personal usage experience that could help a new buyer be aware of the price justifications of laptops available today. Example the colour gamut of displays rather than just the resolution. Also, you muddied the HDD vs SSD debate.. SSD is clearly superior. One of your least useful videos, Ranjit Sir.

Yeah in some extent as it has 3072x1920 3K+ display, which is better than most gaming laptops. Also it has Thunderbolt 4 Type-C. Some of the gaming laptops don't have that as they miss it or use AMD which doesn't support thunderbolt.
Lmao Rog G15 wiped the floor with it
Still not quite yet.
My main complaint is why budget laptops come in 15/15.6 inch size. I want a 13.3 inch laptop with budget specs and just can't find any. Smaller screen will mean less battery drain, and for students like me, we need something smaller to carry and a better battery life.
This is the best laptop purchase video on TH-cam. So so informative. Thank you Ranjit sir ❤️
Samsung india is launching their samsung galaxy book series..
Plz review it when launched!
Hey Ranjit, I will be moving to Canada in a couple of months and will need a laptop for film editing as I'm doing filmmaking course there. I was considering ASUS Vivobook Pro 14X but I don't do gaming. I also prefer the OLED screen for video rendering. According to you which is the best reasonable laptop in terms of processor, memory, minimum 512GB storage and I/O ports?
Can u suggest for programming, coding, game dev and light weight gaming .....like for playing valorant and minecraft
8 GB, 256 SSD/1TB .... I3 10 Gen, Is it relevant in 2022?

Man, wish you made a video including all the brands.
Sir keep making videos on laptops. Its great to watch laptop reviews.
I have an 8 yr old desktop pc having 3rd gen core i3 processor. installed an ssd onto it and it runs through all the basic stuff 😂 For basic users as long as you get a laptop with an SSD you're safe i guess. even if you're broke dont buy a lap with only HDD
I got the OG i5 🤣🤣 the very first core i5 and its still great for media playback and browsing.. but gaming is a big no.
mine can still run those old games with the in-built intel graphics and 8 gb ram, we can edit 720 or 1080p videos, edit photos 😅 All the windows apps open really fast. Installed libre office which also works really well
Which laptop best for vfx usage sir
GPUs are not just used by content creators and gamers anymore. I use my GPU for Machine learning and AI models. You need high CUDA cores for that. Graphic design, 3D simulation, Crypto mining, high parallel computation in OpenCV etc. For video editing I can use my smartphone too now a days. Anyhow video was nice.

Hey if you could also do a monitor buying guide for use with laptop, it would be super helpful. For example helping us choose and understand the differences between like lg 27ul650 and asus pro art pa278qv for example.
You didn’t talk about the H series laptop. What are those?

Sir please make a video about Intel .VS. AMD ...🙏🙏🙏
For students you can't recommend same laptops to all.
Different students need different types. A CS student needs higher end laptops for say android development than a law student who needs it just for writing articles and all
i have dell inspiron 5000 series laptop with i7 processor and 8gb RAM, being having these specifications why my laptop is very slow and lag, can anyone say what might be the reason
Hey ranjit you didn't cover Vostro and Latitude series of dell which are mostly used in business environment.
Hi ranjit.... How would you rate Hp pavillion ryzen 7 octa core 4800H .. its available in Flipkart ??
You could get a laptop with Ryzen 5000 series processor and a better graphics card for that money.
Thank you Ranjit sir 🙏🙂, indeed a very helpful video for me coz I wanna buy a Dell lappy this year !
I am planning to buy mi notebook pro is it good or not please let me know sir
Don't buy mi notebook, it might be good specwise (idk the exact specifications) but for a laptop unlike smartphones after sales and reliability is very important in my experience and I would suggest buying an hp or a Dell(or any other reputable brand ) .
I checked the laptop and the only good thing i can see about it is the screen. Intel 11th gen is pretty bad compared to ryzen 5000 series and unless you specifically want Intel iris xe or the screen ryzen is much better in performance and efficiency.
Please keep time stamps in the videos. It is becoming tedious to come back and lsiten to the exact part requried.
If you don’t care about OS and need a very good laptop within 1 lakh budget with great overall experience like display, performance speakers etc M1 MacBook Air is the best. If you gono buy m1 mba just wait to October you can get m2 MBA
Please make a 1 video on best laptops under 40k-45k.
And 2nd video on laptops upto 35k
Nice video sir.
But just wanted clarification for casual gaming of GTA V, CS GO do we require 8gb ram or 16gb with i5 intel processor?
Gta 5 is considered a demanding game and 16gb never hurts. Though 8gb will work with a good graphics card.
Hi Sir, Please review on Samsung f23 5G. Thanks!
When will be the 12th generation intel processor laptops will be available in India
My budget is around 75k,will be learning web dev basically. Should i go for apple macbook air m1 or windows laptop with i5
M1 without a doubt. I5 unless 12th gen is not good at all and if windows is needed go for ryzen. For 12th gen it depends.
Still M1 is much better
@@vedaryan334 But does M1 will support Java and other languages
I have been using m1 air it’s fantastic but only problem you have to completely switch to apple ecosystem for every day use
@@goallapavankumar7854 that's not a problem but could u tell if u can run Java on it?
Hate to say it but this felt more like an ad for Intel and Dell. Helpful for a lay person but not for an enthusiast.
BEST INTRO EVER 💯
Hi, does dell sell linux based laptops in India?
The new windows 11 require 12+gb ram , office 365 gets very slow if used below 8gb ram
Dell is more expensive in the lower variant and offers less package when compared to HP and other laptop this is one thing i noticed while purchasing laptop for my use
