    Season 1
    Episode 37
Artist Molly Weems shows up at Highway Patrol headquarters claiming that convicted "Sunrise Park Killer" George Crenshaw is innocent. When Dan Mathews confronts her with the many inconsistencies in her story, Molly admits that she was lying to try to save Crenshaw (her former fiancé) from execution. Surprisingly, an attempt is made on Molly's life after reporter Joe Macklin prematurely prints a story about her claims and includes her home address. Molly survives the attack, but Dan deduces that she may have unknowingly been correct about Crenshaw and that the real "Sunrise Park Killer" could still be at large. Dan stakes out Molly's home and eventually finds himself face to face with the pusillanimous killer. Written by Sam Spear

Molly Weems sure knows her automobiles. A '56 Buick Roadmaster convertible. What a ride.

The '56 was the only car whose model year was shown on the car - in the round emblem right in the middle of the grille.
Three or four different Buicks in this episode. Seems like Buick Motor Division got some free advertising - and they probably supplied all the Buicks. But somebody slipped in an Oldsmobile near the end.

@@Chazd1949 The '57 Buicks also had medallions with the year on them, like the '56s. In later years I thought this was something all cars should have visible on the outside.

    • @Chazd1949
      @Chazd1949 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@hebneh I was told that the '56 was unique to this distinction, and when I first learned of it I looked for the emblem the next time I saw a '56 at a car show. Sure enough, there it was. However, I never thought to look for it on any earlier or later model year. Now I know better. Thanks for the correction.

    I have loved Broderick Crawford
For over many years.. As he h as played
    Various characters extremely well. Years
Ago he played tuff guys allot then father
Figure and even scarcely pictures. Once
    I started watching Highway Patrol i never stopped.. He's a gem.. 💎 i wish
They would teach the officers today t o
Really follow the Law!!! We don't even
Have a substantial amount of highway
Patrol and When Dan ends each episode
He leaves a very important message about driving and how cars can be a help and a danger to our citizens. I love
💘 him and the entire crew. But one thing as much as they complain in the
World about blacks hispanics committing crimes ? Every episode or the many I've seen are white people ?
If the stories are true where are the
Other ethic actors ? No work no jobs
For them ? No other ethnic writers producers ? The narrative is being
    Changed. Black and Hispanic Highway
Patrolmen are bring hired and others
To come lets share the love the money
    And the truth. ♥💜🙏
