His circumstances are different then ours, his entire world is on the line and I would assume that he will use any means necessary to win here. The person playing is only doing it to see what happens if they win. Sans has a justifiable reason. The player does not.
You're right, but why should the Player put up with an unfair fight in advance. Please note that the Player activated the cheats ONLY after Gaster and Sans cheated. Also, what other choice did the Player have? Gaster and Sans literally destroyed all the buttons, so if everyone cheats, then no one cheats.

I understand that people are siding with Sans here but imagine playing a video game, any kind that has fighting, action or a turn based game and a character in that game decides to cheat because you keep winning and removes everything you have that you need to fight or flee. you'd cheat too because that's the only option you have unless you just leave the game for good, have the video game character win, and leave you with a bitter taste in your mouth
