    Glad to see they kept it circular and in the center. Looks better than my 14 ninja 650. Fancy. Woulda been mad if they made it off center like the fz09 or square shaped like a cbr500r/fz07 lol.

    Thanks for the video. Are you over 600 miles yet. Hope to see some peppy riding when broken in. I'm still debating between the Z650 or the FZ-07. I have test ridden the FZ-07 . Right now have a CB500F.

    Enjoying your videos, your ride the same sort of roads I like to ride. Looking forward to seeing the changes in scenery through the seasons. I prefer the picture in picture in this position. (Top Right)

    Thanks for all your videos. Picked up the Z650 on Friday. I am a returning rider after too many years to count. Your reviews help me feel confident in my choice of the Z650. Quick question - does the range display only activate when the bike is running? Is it dynamic, that is, does it calculate your range based upon the fuel display or do you set a projected range when you fill up and it counts down from there? Thanks.

    • @Tremonte
      @Tremonte  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sanford Toole congrats on the bike! The range calculates as you are riding by what fuel is in the tank. It just gives a rough idea of how far you can go until you need a fill up.

    Love the videos man! Been watching all of them lately but I have a question. I have a 2013 ninja 650 do you think its possible to swap clusters from your gen z650 to a 12-16 gen ninja 650? I've looked a little and they have very similar shapes and size so I looks possible but don't how difficult it would be or if not impossible. Thank you in advance.

    • @Tremonte
      @Tremonte  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's possible, but there may be an issue with how the speed is reported to the cluster. If you had each models service manual, you could see what the pin outs are, then compare.

    WHAT`S THE TOP SPEED OF THIS BIKE? I LOVE IT.

    • @Tremonte
      @Tremonte  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe with the gearing it has stock, it tops out at 120MPH. It has a rather low gear range to keep the torque close to the HP ratings.

    hey tremonte, I got the same bike last week and I have few questions...if you can answer it would take my mind off some noises.
    I come from a ducati monster noise and used to the valves noises in deceleration, now I don't actually know if the Z650 in deceleration has a grinding like metal noise when releasing the throttle, the noise is not strong but detectable and starts when engine is warm.
    2 the temperature I seen on others post its pretty high on Kawasaki but I'm wondering if yours while riding hits also before the last bar.
    3 and I'm done, I can hear the chain, now and then touching something like a RAGH-RAGH noise and I can't see while parked.
    Should I go back to dealer or could it be just the way it's built.
    I don't remember all those noises when I test drove a sister bike and I notice the noise after 70 mile on it. Thanks for reading and the responding if you do.
    I got the same white bike and I love it, it's just such a great ride light and comfortable.

      Hmm... that's an odd one. The only out of place sounds I have, are from the rear pillion. The latch vibrates from time to time, especially with the new exhaust. I can put my hand on it while riding and it will stop for a bit. It's not very loud, just where you can barely hear it. Does it do it at idle, or only on the road, or all the time? Anyway you can send a sound clip? tremonte@tremonte.tv I'll see if I can figure out what you're hearing.

      will do, just not today... its been raining for 2 days now!

    • @cmott8809
      @cmott8809 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      the noise is only when decelerating on the road in any gear, if I pull the clutch the rattle stops. Its not heavy but I can hear it.

    Quick question Tremonte, I've been looking at the FZ-07 and FZ-09 and even peeked over at the Street Triple for a bit. Found a good deal on a 2006 Yamaha FZ6 with very low miles (2500) so I pulled the trigger on that, removed the fairing and lowered it a bit since like you, I a bit on the short side. Question is: do you consider your new Suzuki to be buzzy?. I just saw you rev'd up to about 6K and when I do that the Fazer screams like a lil' snitch. The bike is great and really fun for the price but I wonder if you feel the same way about 650. To cruise at 40 MPH I normally run top gear. Thoughts?

    • @Tremonte
      @Tremonte  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Carlos Toro the only buzz or vibration I feel is between 4-6k rpm. Below and above that, it is noticeably less. If you feel it's more than what should be normal, find a reputable shop that isn't a dealer to look it over. And congrats on the bike!
