Kinda unrelated but at first when I heard Alaric say he only used hope to protect his daughters I didn’t really believe it bc he seemed to really care for her throughout legacies but while watching this I realized that when Alaric offered to have hope at the Salvatore school in the originals it was right after hope had gone out and saved her father from davina in the church, and it all made sense bc I thought this plot line of Alaric not caring for hope is all bc of the shitty legacies writers but knowing that there is evidence of this being Alaric’s intentions in the originals just confirms it

I worry about where they are going with Tribrid hope because they are protraying her as the big bad that needs to be fixed meaning they might try and lock her powers because they cant control her when all they got to do it get her humanity switch back on.

1. The Vampire Diaries, 2. The Originals, which you’ve already watched. 3. Legacies. You can technically watch Legacies before TVD but it would be quite confusing.
