MGTF Chasing down an annoying CLUNK! Can the amateur (A MATE U R ) mechanic fix it?

Steve’s amateur ( A MATE U R ) garage. Chasing down the latest annoying clunking noise in my MGTF daily driven classic car, or some would say future classic car.
Another exciting video in the Steve's amateur garage series, this time chasing down an annoying clunking noise which seems to be coming from inside the cabin. This informational video would also apply to the similar MGF. So having owned this car for about 5 years I ask myself is the MG TF the best bargain British sports car you can buy? I love its practicality and reliability. So to answer the question , should you buy an MG TF roadster after a test drive I would highly recommend it, it's fun on a budget! Unlike the MG 100 currently on show at Retromobile, I must do a MG FT buyers guide video in the not to distant future. The MG TF is a modern classic and it turns out the MG TF isn't completely terrible after all, the Limited Edition MG TF Spark is probably the most desirable in the buyer guide to the MGTF & MGF.
The project MGTF could easily be described as the last Great British sports car, as described in the Fifth Gear - MGTF review, soft top showdown. In the next few weeks we will be repairing the TF 02 sensor, the engine mounts and the annoying rattle coming from inside the door.We show you how to remove the door panel, and we had to remove the hard top to investigate the noise, this required the anti lock straps on the soft top to be moved in the rearward direction to enable us to lower the roof correctly. Having recently replaced the head gasket on the MGTF/MGF we will be keeping a close eye on the coolant level to ensure we do not overheat. A common issue with the MGTF and the K SERIES engine.

My silver 2002 MG was a wonderful car to drive and great fun and cheap motoring. I think its a brilliant design and prices deserve to increase.

I’m now trying to find out where water is coming in. Just removed and silicon sealed the snorkel.
