Note that if you have a forw about to harass you, don't crawl to the corner like what the 2nd seer did. For your own sake more than anything. Just go to a wall or a nearby obstacle.
how would he know forward was coming? also the stun was just too risky imo. it was kinda luck based cuz it was in an area where seer could easily get stuck. he didnt rly have anywhere to go either since he ran into a corner to avoid getting chaired near ciphers
@@freshpotatoes4779 The forward was decoding nearby and he pinged his location. So judging from his ping and the way Seer's camera slightly moved towards him, he knew forward's there and is gonna harass.
Yes the stun is risky, but at that point they had no choice since Seer's dead on chair. It's better to risk the stun and praying it hit rather than just do nothing and guarantee the tie/loss.
As for his kiting route, I'm not saying it's bad. He's correct in dying away from the last 2 ciphers. But you don't rlly want to die in a corner when your harasser is a forward, period. Since if the stun does land, you won't be able to get out of that spot. + this is cn server so I'm basing their forward skills accordingly to the players there and they usually know what they're doing.
All in all it's just miscommunication on their part. But for us, it can be used as guidelines on what to do and not to.
@@keigh11 this could have been a fair point if forward pinged that he was coming, but it was a cipher progress ping like u said. they still had the choice to just play it safe and keep decoding, so theres no way to know if forward was gonna stun without him directly pinging.
based on this, he did the safest move and died in a corner. its not really fair to pin this on the seer when it was clearly the forward who gave zero indication that he was gonna come and stun like that
@@freshpotatoes4779 ?? I'm not pinning this on the seer. My words are, and word to word: "Note that if you have a forw about to harass you, don't crawl to the corner like the 2nd seer did." I was just saying what he did wrong. That's not blaming. That's just making an observation.
If I WERE blaming him I'd say it more like "The seer shouldn't have died in the corner! He threw!"
Forward lacked communication, that's for sure. But this is again, cn server. Usually you'd expect forwards to come harass immediately after finishing one cipher and that forward did. This is all just lack of communication from them. I focused on the seer more because he's the character shown in the video in general. If you want to look at it in a more broad pov, then obvi they all had their shortcomings. Example is the patient not communicating he'll body block the seer so seer ended up using his owl.
Don't put words into my mouth. "Pinning the blame" is a harsh way to put it, and it can paint someone in a bad light.
