Why do I have to fiddle the batteries around to get it to work??? I put it in and nothing comes on, then I have to slowly slide it in to get this to turn on and the battery doesn't display as full.... What is the problem? I also have two of these and they both do the same thing

But why did you have to touch it for it to rotate, it should do that by its self

I pressed the "manual" button, in order to adjust the amount of food coming out of the feeder.
