I noticed the same thing The Assassin is respectful but reserved The Warlock is clearly a zealot with no tolerance for heresy And the Hunter is rather rebellious and brash
Some sources say that warlock is bit nutty in the head as he might start guoting that he is stronger than his masters and that he is a god. He might have delved too deep in the psionick powers so he is goin mad bit by bit.
I like that tiny subtle detail, where the assassin and the warlock both kneel in respect and obedience to their masters, but the hunter just takes more of an "imma just take a seat" pose
Yeah, plus they're all the same race we haven't really seen before. I guess they have a lot more free will than some of the other species. I can't wait for the mod that lets you recruit these three instead of killing them.
Okay, the hunter is hands down my favorite of the chosen, purely for his attitude in this cutscene. I don't even know what his fighting style's gonna be like (other than the vague 'sniper' description), and I still love the guy!
I heard he can aim down and strike you from anywhere in the map. Even in the shadows. But he will notify you beforehand before he fires a shot. Basically, he will be there to annoy you and forcing out of cover. Probably allow his grunts or lessors to kill you while he take potshots.
"Arrogance would be defiance. You have walked among the humans for too long. You reek of abjection. You will be reclaimed." "Return what was lost to us. Crush all who oppose our view. To the one, we'll grace our everlasting favor. To the others *blam*. You are the chosen, do not fail us. Now go." Best I can do.
Metrulizer Arrogance! Defiance! You have walked among the humans for far too long, you have been corrupted, you can be reclaimed! Yet perhaps, you can be redeemed.
I don't think it's "you have been corrupted". My ears pick out "You re___ | ovobjekn" The second syllable has a short pause after it, so it's less likely to be a fricative, more likely to be a click, and I definitely picked up an 'r'. The opposite applies to the third, it's an 'ov' sound that leads to the next quickly, so I'm thinking it's 'of'. For 4, 5 and 6 it's hard to tell what the tail end really is, but the head starts with a vowel, not a 'c'. Then I assumed it's obj- or abj-, and picked an appropriate word. "Arrogance! Defiance!" might be right, depending on whether the two sounds I heard were actual words or just noise.
Are these aliens for real though? The only reason they managed to subjugate most of Earth is because they somehow got the commander in stasis processing orders for them, soon as that changed, they started losing BADLY to a rag-tag group of rebels.
It looks like literally every element of their society is controlled by a small group (or maybe hivemind) of ethereals, who don't necessarily know the first thing about strategy. Their past successes have likely been entirely due to their tech advantage.
That's sort of the point. The Elders have no notion of tactics or strategy. Its strongly implied throughout the two XCOM games that they don't have the mind to match the mettle they bring to the table. They are literally lethally incompetent and arrogant, which was their downfall in the "simulation" of EU/EW and XCOM 2 of course. They were so self-assured of their victory that even though they knew the commander was fully capable of directing a small paramilitary organization to a full victory over an alien invasion, they didn't throw every wrench that had into the works. Hell, realistically think about the temple ship...the only reason that was a threat was the chrysallid army. By the time it comes up XCOM has the capability to get the entire world in theory manufacturing laser or even plasma weaponry. Without their "Diabolus ex Machina" in form of the Chrysallid horde, the Elder would likely have lost an extended military campaign with Earth simply because technology since their arrival had advanced that swiftly. Of course that was a simulation. In XCOM they got beat even worse.
Actually, despite the early dialogue making it seem like a simulation, there's dialogue near the end which indicates that the Aliens knew about your EU/EW victories, and that they effectively save-scummed. Dev statements alluding to the fact that our Ironman Impossible victories are still "canon" alongside our losses also seem to support this. As for the "incompetent leadership," the Templeship is basically one big admission to them pulling their punches in EU/EW because they were testing humanity, slowly ramping up the challenge in the hopes that they could prove mankind's potential, which (via the volunteer) we effectively did. Meanwhile, in XCOM 2, they didn't pull their punches and wiped out humanity's forces so quickly XCOM couldn't even finish development of the Skeleton Suit. Lastly, while they're desperate to get the Commander back, it doesn't seem to be solely for his tactical mind. While that seems to be the main reason for his capture and imprisonment (as we see in the early cutscenes), given how well they still do without him and how desperately they want him back, many suspect ulterior motives. Perhaps it's even tied to his Psionic potential, or in a more far-fetched possibility, perhaps he is an ethereal like Asaru.
there is a theory there stating xcom 2 commander maybe an etheral like Asaru due to the few times we see an etheral with a blue hue ( like Asaru ) and some blue psionics from the commander in the final-ish cinematic
Myrkrid also, X-com 2 it's a really poorly executed ending, but all evidence points to a earth Civil war not to a "humanity pushes Advent Back" that means that those X-hault loosers from X-com/EW were adapted into the Advent as the civilian administration and that means that Advent still has plenty of human follwers even if they lost the elders.
Actually, for what i'm seeing right now, there's a possibility it will be an option to make him a sort of ally. I mean, he seems not so attached to his brother and sister, and he also doesn't have problem talking bad about the elders, meaning he 1: He doesn't care much about them, just staying with them for profit 2: He despise them and really want to have a chance to shot them in the head, but he's wise for now to stay with the "most strong" at the moment.
Dude, the Elder says that one of them would rule the Earth after the Ethereal's departure. If the Hunter sides with us, he won't get it, so why would he side with us?
They will also change as you interact with them, developing new strengths/weaknesses, and they will remember your previous encounters (like if you chased them off, if they killed/captured some of your troops, etc.). Jake Solomon even confirmed himself that the Nemesis System from Shadow of Mordor and the upcoming Shadow of War was the inspiration for this.
I don't know when the Ethereal was doing her distorted rant she said "You have walked amoung the Humans for too long you will be demoted... something, something... but perhaps you will be redeemed". Maybe we get to make him a part of XCOM.
Now go."
Is it just me or does it seem like Firaxis likes the Assassin waaaay more than the other Chosen? Like she seems like they're trying to make her way cooler than the others. She's also the one that's been shown of the most....
@Darrell Chapman, you'll probably find that the developer had alot of time crafting that particular character, and to be fair she is pretty cool as well even though i find that the hunter is much better :D but most likely they will all have an equal amount of gametime seeing as most of them control their own region, the devs obviously just liked the look and idea of the assassin for the trailers, but i think you'll find that they also favour the Hunter as well, which is good, because the only one i'm abit meh on is the Warlock and he's had very little coverage... also when you think about it... They have saved the Hunter and the Templars reveal videos until the very last, which is normally something you do for stuff that you like :)
Mitchael Jorgensen Yes that is a very fair argument and it's ok to have favourites. And I'm ok with Firaxis liking the Templars because they haven't overshadowed the reapers or the warlords. However the Assassin has completely stepped in front of the other chosen... Idk just personal preference. I also hated how the Warlock and Hunter teleported in kneeling and she got a unique pose. I also dislike how she was able to "defeat" the hunter so easily. Also she's the only one that didn't argue. I world just prefer if they didn't shove her in our faces
that chasm on the bottom of the ocean where psionic energy is seeping from...the Elders are running away from whatever is in that chasm...T'leth anyone?
I like them all to be honest. I admire the assassin's martial honor, which is underlined by her final quote when defeated. I admire the warlock's unwavering faith, and his penchant for drama always puts a smile on my face. And the hunter? He's not so much admirable as he is just simply likeable in an 'affably evil' sort of way.
Did anyone notice that the fourth bridge had an Avatar symbol where it connected to the shrine, yet the three the chosen come from are not only different from the Avatar symbol, but also the same as each other?
Of all the chosen i find the assassin to be by far the most annoying. warlock just sends mobs at you (tho this may be an issue on harder difficulties) and the hunter's attacks can be avoided. The assassin with her damn conceal and hit and run tactics are INFURIATING especially early game.
Here's what I THINK was said. First Visor opening: "Do not Defy us (Or maybe "Defiance?" Something like that.) You have walked among the humans far too long. you have been corrupted. You have been reclaimed. (Possibly "Will be reclaimed", but I can definitely hear the "-en" sound, plus her next line would be irrelevant if she said that.) This is interesting, cause if This is correct this sheds some interesting light on the Chosen. They aren't a completley invisible force. They must work with Humans, not only against them. Plus that line: "You have been reclaimed". Obviously they were human at one point, but to use the term "Reclaimed" at the slightest hint of insubordination... UGH I WANT MORE INFO. Second Visor Opening: "Return what is lost to us. Crush all who oppose our will. To (or maybe "for") the one we bequeath (sounds like "Appease" tbh but that word makes no sense here.) our everlasting favor, will be honored. You are the Chosen, do not fail us. Now go." Pretty sure thats what she says, for those who don't want to try to decipher it. Hopefully when the DLC releases they'll tweak the audio a bit.
Would have been good had subtitles been on, as when the ethereal has its helmet active, its speech is distorted. Will be good when the game is released and we can see what it says for ourselves.
Robert Cornes (Distorted) Arrogance! Defiance! You have walked among the humans for far too long! you have been corrupted! you can be reclaimed! Best I could do
Firaxis planned on having 4 chosen, 1 for each class. Assassin for ranger, warlock for psi op and hunter for sharpshooter, and then there would be zealot for heavy, but he was unfortunately scrapped
Seriously, who the hell is the Commander? The "Commander is the ethereal from The Bereau" seems to become a lot more plausible with the obsession those Elders are showing him in this expansion.
Basically think of it as a competition. Elders chosen 3 of these assassins to compete with each other who is gonna be the first to completely sabotage the XCOM project so naturally none of them likes each other since the price for winning that is probably something insanely good for them in return.
With the visions the Ethereal shows them, this always seems like a half sequel... I wonder what the new ending is going to be like. (Also too bad we can't befriend the Sniper, he seems like he's fed up with their crap)
It would be an excellent mechanic if the Chosen could try to out manoeuvre each other by sabotaging each other, or even slipping information to XCOM about the others' whereabouts.
XCOM 3 will likely be a hybrid of Terror From the Deep and Apocalypse. The enemy the elders are fighting will show up on Earth via the rift that appears at game end.
You know i'm quite curious to what placed the hunter on this path of openly talking bad about the eldars perhaps we will get a book explaining as to how this became?
Lynn USUK From what info I can gather, no. The only time the chosen are gonna be together on the battlefield will be in the penultimate battle (at least the ones you've yet to kill during said playthrough will show up), and they'll surely get their shit together for a common cause by then. Then again, it would be awesome to see the hunter take podshots at the assassin when she steals one of his kills.
so are ethereals and elders the same thing? because ethereals aren't that hard really but these chosen seem to not only take their orders but are afraid of them, I'm confused.
darkwolf1304 Think of them like alien rulers, they themselves are unique and will show up many times. The only way to prema-kill them however is via a special base attack mission only available after some work with their rival Rebel faction.
I hope we will get special missions to hopefully recruit the hunter but also destroy the trust among siblings. If we can and will be able to do it,the ethereal are dead.
Somthing about how The Hunter has become fond of humans (or at the least picked up some of their habits) and will be demoted if he keeps going on the way he is.
Too bad that with each passing game the enemy seems less alien. It would be far more interesting for us to be left guessing in regards to their motivation and emotional traits and keep them in that creepy "Fire in the Sky" territory like in Enemy Unknown.
Is it just me that feels this is a missed opportunity. Looking at these guys makes me think they should just be the main characters of some Xcom:2 spin off game where you play as the aliens. waits, for mod that lets me recruit these guys instead of killing them.
Relationship towards their boss
Assassin - professional
Warlock-kiss ass to elders
Hunter- doesn't give a $&$&
I noticed the same thing
The Assassin is respectful but reserved
The Warlock is clearly a zealot with no tolerance for heresy
And the Hunter is rather rebellious and brash
John Doe I know right! I have feeling warlock going to be preaching all the time on how the elders are so great
which'll just make you want to shut him and his sister up first.
Some sources say that warlock is bit nutty in the head as he might start guoting that he is stronger than his masters and that he is a god. He might have delved too deep in the psionick powers so he is goin mad bit by bit.
That's when you shut him up with a flashbang to the face
Bwahaha, I love the assassin's "is this kid fucking serious right now?" face when the hunter lines up his shot.
She literally teleported behind him, and told him 'nothing personnel kid'.
I like that tiny subtle detail, where the assassin and the warlock both kneel in respect and obedience to their masters, but the hunter just takes more of an "imma just take a seat" pose
It's actually a "yanki zuwari" style squat, like a smartass Japanese thug. Yes I watch too much anime :D
Midnight Tea yeah thx fam, really needed that enlightening weeb wisdom there to fortify my point.
Weesdom, if you want.
That's not sarcasm, right? It's hard to tell via text.
CinderBH oh come on, was it really that hard to piece together? I mean geez.
The sarcasm? I see.
You know, by saying that you're also calling "weebs" the X-COM devs who used that as an inspiration.
Bruh I like that Sniper, I think I'm going to spare him if given the chance. He seems like he would defect if he thought XCOM could take on the elders
You won't be given that chance.
Bacxaber Well, that's why mods exist, I guess.
Bacxaber op snipor join xcom mad crits
Jacob Mikeska These chosen seem more like rogues in it for the fun and challenge, they aren't solely loyal like advent or at least thats how it looks.
Yeah, plus they're all the same race we haven't really seen before. I guess they have a lot more free will than some of the other species.
I can't wait for the mod that lets you recruit these three instead of killing them.
I have no idea what is being said when its visor opens up, all I heard was distortion.
Translation - Keep running your mouth weakling and I'll turn you into a smear on the floor.
All I heard was "You have walked among the humans far too long."
same
Ikr?
same
Still would have missed the shot while they were talking.
99% to hit
*Miss*
And then I fired, and then I fired again. . . I missed both times.
And then I was out of bullets. And I got sad. I had a popsicle.
I fired. I hit SOMETHING. But it wasn't what I was going for. So I guess I missed. I passed out again. Had another popsicle.
And that's why I open up with a void rift or blaster bomb.
Okay, the hunter is hands down my favorite of the chosen, purely for his attitude in this cutscene.
I don't even know what his fighting style's gonna be like (other than the vague 'sniper' description), and I still love the guy!

Basically, he will be there to annoy you and forcing out of cover. Probably allow his grunts or lessors to kill you while he take potshots.
Not one full minute of dialogue from that sniper and he is already my favorite.
Best line of the trailer "oh I DARE"
'Thought you were the strongest' -Hunter
Sethorven: I like this guy already.
Me: Same
It's cool to see them interact with each other, you never really see the aliens do that. It gives them more of a personality
"Arrogance would be defiance. You have walked among the humans for too long. You reek of abjection. You will be reclaimed."
"Return what was lost to us. Crush all who oppose our view. To the one, we'll grace our everlasting favor. To the others *blam*. You are the chosen, do not fail us. Now go."
Best I can do.
You're a godsend my man, thank you
Metrulizer thanks because I couldn't hear anything
Metrulizer Arrogance! Defiance! You have walked among the humans for far too long, you have been corrupted, you can be reclaimed! Yet perhaps, you can be redeemed.
I don't think it's "you have been corrupted". My ears pick out "You re___ | ovobjekn"
The second syllable has a short pause after it, so it's less likely to be a fricative, more likely to be a click, and I definitely picked up an 'r'.

"Arrogance. Open defiance. You who have walked among the humans far too long."
all I see are trophy heads iam about to add in my collection..
savage
Soldiers! Give me their skulls.
@Layne Warner SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE
there's a skull throne? where, I want one for the Average.
BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE! MILK FOR THE KHORNE FLAKES!

I LIKE THE REBELLIOUS SNIPER!!! I DON'T WANT TO KILL HIM XD
Would be interesting if we actually find them fighting each other.
No, you will definitely have to fight him. The devs have confirmed that unless you hunt down and kill the chosen they will attack you in waterworld.
Maybe, if you spare him, the devs will put a plot twist allowing him to betray his comrades JUST in that event. Only time will tell.
Dude, the Elder says that one of them would rule the Earth after the Ethereal's departure. If the Hunter sides with us, he won't get it, so why would he side with us?
, I left you a comment. There are all after a specific faction probably to avoid fighting each other
I was trying to throw a flashbang there
i really like this dlc, character have more depth and story to them its so good looking
They will also change as you interact with them, developing new strengths/weaknesses, and they will remember your previous encounters (like if you chased them off, if they killed/captured some of your troops, etc.). Jake Solomon even confirmed himself that the Nemesis System from Shadow of Mordor and the upcoming Shadow of War was the inspiration for this.
sounds better than the base game, the base game was cool but really didnt have a story, was all heavy based off the first
I like how cheeky the sniper is.
The hunter seems to question the ethereals a bit
I thought the other two would be more interesting but it turns out he's the most interesting.
I thought the warlock would be the most interesting
Turns out the hunter interests me more
I think his not actually loyal to the ethereals, only in it for himself
I don't know when the Ethereal was doing her distorted rant she said "You have walked amoung the Humans for too long you will be demoted... something, something... but perhaps you will be redeemed". Maybe we get to make him a part of XCOM.
I doubt it since their there to fight you till death
I cant hear shit.
Now go."
I like to imagine the Chosen Elites are essentially what it's like to send your Royal Guard to invade a pre-spaceflight species in Stellaris.
You're the chosen one, you're supposed to destroy the XCOM..
bring balance to the aliens. Not leave them in darkness
From _my_ point of view, the *Elders* are evil!
Sounds like XCOM will always lose because the Elders have the high ground!
You underestimate XCOM's power.
Don't try it.. Commander
I find the hunter the most interesting one out of the three. can't wait to see him in action
Is it just me or does it seem like Firaxis likes the Assassin waaaay more than the other Chosen? Like she seems like they're trying to make her way cooler than the others. She's also the one that's been shown of the most....
Chances are she's the one you will be fighting the most
DBfan You shouldn't be fighting one more than the others. In my opinion unless you seek them out it shouldn't be noticeable
@Darrell Chapman, you'll probably find that the developer had alot of time crafting that particular character, and to be fair she is pretty cool as well even though i find that the hunter is much better :D
but most likely they will all have an equal amount of gametime seeing as most of them control their own region, the devs obviously just liked the look and idea of the assassin for the trailers, but i think you'll find that they also favour the Hunter as well, which is good, because the only one i'm abit meh on is the Warlock and he's had very little coverage...

Technically the assassin didn't beat the hunter. He could have shot her head off, he just chose not to.
that chasm on the bottom of the ocean where psionic energy is seeping from...the Elders are running away from whatever is in that chasm...T'leth anyone?
Definitely T'leth
I like them all to be honest. I admire the assassin's martial honor, which is underlined by her final quote when defeated. Playable Chosen mod when?
Did anyone notice that the fourth bridge had an Avatar symbol where it connected to the shrine, yet the three the chosen come from are not only different from the Avatar symbol, but also the same as each other?
I want the assassin to step on me

Can we all some what agree that the sniper looks fuckable? He has the fuckable quality like the viper people
I hope that x com 2 makes a dlc where your the aliens and instead of the avatar you have to help the project and find the avenger
Hero of Gaming that would be super cool
So we have to deal with Giant Elite Aliens, and Chosen Elites Simultaneously?
Fuck...
If you`re talking about the Rulers, they`ve been nerfed a bit
EndyDunze the devs also mentioned that the rulers won't appear on the same missions as the chosen do.
Here's what I THINK was said.
First Visor opening:
"Do not Defy us (Or maybe "Defiance?" Something like that.) You have walked among the humans far too long. you have been corrupted. You have been reclaimed. (Possibly "Will be reclaimed", but I can definitely hear the "-en" sound, plus her next line would be irrelevant if she said that.)

Pretty sure thats what she says, for those who don't want to try to decipher it. Hopefully when the DLC releases they'll tweak the audio a bit.
So lemme guess, base on their personality the boss encounter would be the sniper dude first, then ranger lady, then finally psi dude
Best I could do
Why do I have so many videos of ptsd in my recommended?
Welcome To Pandora Kiddos! ...Nam
0:54 ha ha ha lol that face
Hunter: Thought you were the strongest…
The Elders: WHAT DID HE SAYYYYYYYYYY?
The thumbnail looked like the alien on the left has his arm wrap around the one on the right!!! LOL!!!
Never figured out why was there 4 "seats" around the elder if theres only 3 chosen
Paloma Pseudoautista commander is the fourth
Firaxis planned on having 4 chosen, 1 for each class. Assassin for ranger, warlock for psi op and hunter for sharpshooter, and then there would be zealot for heavy, but he was unfortunately scrapped
The Hunter/Sniper Chosen one seems really displeased with his master. Hope you can actually get him to defect and fight alongside you
I'm wondering whats up with the audio - seems to be all the wrong volume levels, makes it difficult to hear, especially with the voice distortion etc.
Obbu probably a choice by gamespot, back when there was a 24/7 gaming channel they'd do this shit to the game's they'd show the play footage of.
The Only reason that the Elders haven't killed the hunter is because hes there only Sniper!
Seriously, who the hell is the Commander?
The "Commander is the ethereal from The Bereau" seems to become a lot more plausible with the obsession those Elders are showing him in this expansion.
I mean, I kinda dig the Commander just... Just being this badass human that they just can't be rid of.
The commander is us
I've been praying to RNGesus non stop ever since war of the chosen was announced. My faith is strong so bring it!
"We let the Commander slip through our fingers, now go get them back! Please?"
I just found out that the Warlock has the same voice actor as Samuel Hayden.
So, that's what he needed the Crucible for......
Wait, what?
He voiced Reinhardt from Overwatch too.
So does that mean we have a psi-Samuel Hayden with a massive hammer?
That sniper hunter is badass!!!!!!
if chosen hunter form an uneasy alliance with the commander to destroy the elders for his own ulterior motive... we might see him again in xcom3...
Yes... my siblings are rather... pestilent.
Hallo.
I am making a fanfic crossover between you and Cayde-6.
Are you excited to fight the other hunter?
Is it just me or that hunter sound like starscream from OG série/ transformer prime??
What If now just what if, you could recruit them
I like it when aliens look just like humans except blue.
They probably are alien/human hybrids like most of the other aliens in the game.
There's a theory that these three are actually the Furies from Enemy Within who got captured in this timeline
In the immortal words of sethvorven "Damn this boys sassy"
The could be. Soon a mod were the hunter chosen could defect since he's the most rebellious
So that's what that cliffhanger from the end of XCOM 2 was about
itd be cool if we could ally with the sniper chosen, seems to hate his masters as much as we do
The Hunter is pretty fucking balsy for a Sniper about to engage in close quarter combat with a Swordfighter and a Psionic
I like that guy
Aaaahhhh a 30 second mario ad I couldn't skip for some reason!!! Oh god noooo!!!
This actually gives the opponents a reason to exists.
Basically think of it as a competition. Elders chosen 3 of these assassins to compete with each other who is gonna be the first to completely sabotage the XCOM project so naturally none of them likes each other since the price for winning that is probably something insanely good for them in return.
The chosen have more personality
than advent
"Sounds to me like they're afraid!"
Notice how the room is made for four people
Maybe that's the commander or even an rebel or dead chosen
With the visions the Ethereal shows them, this always seems like a half sequel... I wonder what the new ending is going to be like.
(Also too bad we can't befriend the Sniper, he seems like he's fed up with their crap)
It would be an excellent mechanic if the Chosen could try to out manoeuvre each other by sabotaging each other, or even slipping information to XCOM about the others' whereabouts.
The Hunter is fucking hilarious.
who are those masters and what is this greater battle? Xcom 3 on other planets?
XCOM 3 will likely be a hybrid of Terror From the Deep and Apocalypse. The enemy the elders are fighting will show up on Earth via the rift that appears at game end.
so brain suckers are coming back? great...................
Could be worse. Four words. Cruise Ship Terror Mission.
LowbrowDeluxe please stop I'm having Vietnam flashbacks just reading those words
You know i'm quite curious to what placed the hunter on this path of openly talking bad about the eldars perhaps we will get a book explaining as to how this became?
Stealthyhunter There's one coming out called XCOM 2 Escalation
so will they give us the option to some how make them fight each other then our troops can go in for the kill
The Assassin is very swift. The Warlock is very strict. The Hunter is very stiff.
That fucking hunter is awesome. Gimme a way to capture him and I will.
You know there's gonna be a mod to get him onside! :D
* teleports behind you *
LMAO.
Soooo, basically like the Covenant
Anyone else get the feeling that if the Commander were to be controlled by the aliens long enough he would be one of those Chosen?
so are ethereals and elders the same thing? because ethereals aren't that hard really but these chosen seem to not only take their orders but are afraid of them, I'm confused.
Yeah, Ethereals from the first game are the Elders.
sum up ,go get commander bring him to us win plant
Just some friendly competition among siblings lol
I like you Sniper. Just might let you live.
wait, the 3 chosen, are they 3 factions/types of enemies or only 3 single, unique enemies?
darkwolf1304 Think of them like alien rulers, they themselves are unique and will show up many times. The only way to prema-kill them however is via a special base attack mission only available after some work with their rival Rebel faction.
ahh ty
Oh shit! The warlock has a sick ass voice
could not understand halve of what was said? that the recording or what??
Would have liked to know more abot the chosen and hell the aliens in general.
This was question ....How they make viper had armor chest but the assassin look flat
It would be cool if we could somehow convince the hooded champion to join the resistance somehow
I don't understand what the Ethereal says after he open's the helmet.
Anyone with better ears here?
Dammit...has it been released yet?
I think the one with the sniper has the voice actor for zog from shadow of war
No that's Nolan North your thinking of
I hope we will get special missions to hopefully recruit the hunter but also destroy the trust among siblings.
If we can and will be able to do it,the ethereal are dead.
Lol Vahlen is an elder confirmed :)
the hell were that master alien saying?
Somthing about how The Hunter has become fond of humans (or at the least picked up some of their habits) and will be demoted if he keeps going on the way he is.
demoted? try ERASED.
what a family) They have problems with discipline, it will be easier than i thought
Too bad that with each passing game the enemy seems less alien. It would be far more interesting for us to be left guessing in regards to their motivation and emotional traits and keep them in that creepy "Fire in the Sky" territory like in Enemy Unknown.
excuse me, mr elders, do you think you could try using a bit of announciation?
Man, Imagine the Predator or Sith reskin mods for these guys......
Is it just me that feels this is a missed opportunity. Looking at these guys makes me think they should just be the main characters of some Xcom:2 spin off game where you play as the aliens.
waits, for mod that lets me recruit these guys instead of killing them.
aliens sound more badass when they speak alienese :/
I like Hunter...
