Palia is a cozy and wholesome farm sim MMO game. This video is a quick speed build of the design I put together for my own home lot.

I love the community of palia, I spent so much time gathering flow trees with a group of randoms, keeping in communication where they were and waiting for eachother to get there before cutting down. It makes me so happy to be a part of a non toxic gamer community 😊
I had the opposite experience. I was running around bahari, found a flow tree and started chopping, someone came along and saw me, called me out and the group in the zone started Flaming me for it. I logged out after that, they were like "church family" levels of toxic
oh my goodness I LOVE this layout! I always saw "self sustaining" set ups take up all 9 plots which is fine but my orchard looked so.. squished and too hardcore for my farm. Having little single setups of tree + berries is so lovely and your second setup for say.. cloth farming or wheat for cooking is perfect 🤩 Thank you so much for sharing!

This is the best layout I’ve seen! I agree on the aesthetics thing.. the big 3x3 gardens that have different crops everywhere give me anxiety lol

Just use this:
Use preserves jar for: Apple, Blueberry, Carrot, Onion, Tomato, Corn, Spicy Pepper.
Use seedmaker for: Cotton, Potato, Rice, Wheat
Everything else is imperceptible due to how long things take. This is the correct method for best gold farming. You're only really limited by how many preserve/seedmakers you own.

Good but slow way to make gold is to buy eggs for 12 gold. Put it in the glow worm farm and u get one worm for 25 gold and some fertilizer for 5 gold. More then double. You can run multiple glow worm farms. Totall AFK way to make gold.

When I decide to hunt in Kilima, the two ends of the map are good for hunting. I'll start by the Farm, work my way to the coast, then pick the Fisherman's Brew ingredients as I travel down the coast and around the lake, then hunt the other end. When that is a bit played out, around the lake and down the coast to get back to the other end. Helps keep it interesting. But it is hard to pass up the Bahari Bay hunting since they boosted the drops. While hunting in Bahari, I'll always pick up mushrooms and sweat leaves. The mushrooms as additional feed for the glow worm farms, and the sweat leaves for cake parties.

Great video! Sorry, but I just need to inform on two important things that were not accurate in this video =)
1. Crops only grow when you are logged in. So when the game is off there is no progress on the growth (contrary to the video title).
2. The Tomato seed hack has very recently been updated, so you now need 3 tomatos to make tomato seeds instead of 2. Which cuts away the insane profit that was before. Its still an ok way to make money, but maybe isnt considered the most efficient now.

You are 100% correct, and I appreciate the comment. 💜 The tomato seed pricing in the video is after the change, so that's accurate. The title refers to the fact that the seed makers and preserve jars are still working when the game is off. Darn, I must not have said that very clearly.

Cool ideas here. I'm doing the standard 3x3 thing w/ 3 blueberry bushes offset in 3 corners & the apple tree in the other. The "issue" I'm having is not being able to process the veggies fast enough. I switched from tomatoes to potatoes after the adjustment, but that extra time to make potato seeds really makes a difference, so I'm trying to do a few more Preservers vs Seeders. I've also had to stop adding the Harvest Boost fertilizer b/c I wasn't able to keep up & it just seemed wrong to sell plain produce ;) . Tough problem to have, I know.

Loved the video, thanks! But I'm really confused about 'the star seeds only produce star crops' part. In my garden I only plant star seeds yet I always get regular crops too when I harvest and did not use the quality up fertilizer but the one you are using instead or none at all.
This is interesting. I only plant star crops and then I get about 90% star crops and 10% regular. I only use the Harvest Boost Fertilizer, not the Quality Boost. Can anybody else way in on this? Maybe I'm doing something else I don't realize.
@@KatieTwinkle So you do get regular ones too? That was all I was saying though my ratio seems to be leaning a bit more towards 80%/20%. Thought you said you only get star quality, but guess I misunderstood, sorry.

You still gotta weed the garden. Still gotta be online.
The only way the afk garden works is if run weed prevention + water retain. This allows you to use an auto-clicker to keep your character moving around so they can't kick you out for afking.
But the best way to make money is still batter in cake parties. With macro recorder, you can just make money while you sleep. A lot of money.
So much so that I don't know what to spend it on.

If at least one Palia day has gone by since your last login, it will tick one gardening cycle when you log in. :)

As i know, garden don''t grow after the first tick when you leave, if you are afk, how can you afk garden farm ?
You grow the crops while you're playing and then put them in seed makers and preserve jars. They process in those while you are off the game.
I make my money thru my glow worm farm and seed maker but I still need my crop to grown but still make bank when I log it
Yes. Exactly.
But you need to be online for your garden to grow. If your afk nothing grows. Tomato seeds are not that lucrative anymore. Need to give 3 tomatoes for 2 seed bags. Best is to make star quality preservation food. Or glow worm farms. But gardening is no afk money maker.
It works for me because seed making and preserve jar making are both afk. Mostly it helps me prep for cake parties but still have what I need for gifting.

In a few days everyone is going to Fae Farm and Palia will crumble. There isn’t enough to do in Palia. I beat the game in a week and it’s boring now
I'm going to try and manage both Palia and Fae Farm. Wish me luck.
I don't think it's fair to compare a free to play game in Beta with a fully released game that you have to pay for.. :D
(And I don't know about others, but I usually switch between cozy games frequently, and I tend to get back when there's new content. Which is still coming frequently for Palia, as it's not done yet.)
