You can tell Josh is more traditional muay thai. Most kickboxers would NEVER kick and then leave the leg hanging for the counter check. It's something only seen in muay thai.

Nuk Laochaem don’t even bother. You can see the winners were already prequalified based on their previous credentials. They just need a show.

Amazing. But I have to ask. That particular sparring technique where the coach sets up the focus to his head then when you kick he counters be kicking the leg out from under you... What? How is that even fair lol. It's a total setup to fail.
Ah yes but in a match it won’t be a playful fail it’ll be a brutal beat down ... they do it for a reason to train them against it and hold their weight evenly on the foot, because the other opponent can do that if they wanted to.

The tournament was setup at the end because they couldnt pick between the 4 because they all did good in the other segments.. If they sandbagged the other segments they wouldnt get picked for the tournament.
That fight for a scholarship is a nice little sneaky scam, but hey... Why not

This is the way old school used to be whether you got into boxing, wrestling or kickboxing......now a lot of the schools are watered down to make money..... This is the real deal!!!
