I have a Zoom interview this coming Tuesday @ 2:30pm for the role of Park Third Shift Custodial. Can someone please give me some pointers on the interview questions. Or even better, the interview questions for the role..
Listen to me very carefully...this is NOT what they make it out to be.... it sucks! You start at 10:15pm to 6:45am You get to the parking lot and you might have to park all the way out at the end...limited parking spots available at that time.. Then walk almost a 1/4 mile just to get to the clock in area... then walk again to the meeting classroom. Then walk again to the area you're going to work for the night... and when you're done you have to walk back! Those bathrooms are terrible! One bathroom.will have about 30 damn stalls in there and you have to clean each and every one of them.... Bathrooms are not ventilated... no windows... it's hot as hell And you're spraying chemicals and hot water...so the goggles keep fogging up...you can't see shit Then after you're done with the bathrooms... you might have to go clean a restaurant or a store...sweep...vacuum...dust..and mopping. I had to leave this job...I thought I could handle it..but I was dead wrong... Imagine cleaning toilets at 3am at nights when you should be in your bed sleeping 😆 Man to hell with this! Don't let them draw you in with the bullshit promises of "benefits" ...You can go get benefits somewhere else..... If you wear a size 10 in the water boots that they're going to give you... get 1 size bigger. Prepare yourselves for alot of walking and sweating.... in my humble opinion...this 3rd shift custodian job is not worth it.
I worked 3rd shift custodial utilities at Epcot from 2010 to 2015. It wasn't horrible, some nights were easier than others. Hosing down in the summer was hot, but very little leaves on the ground. I hosed, pressure washed, and cleaned the friendship boats. The benefits and perks were great. The mandatory marathons and New Years Eve sucked. The management mostly left you alone, but I made friends that I still have today. I loved the holiday season and getting to see all the decorations at night. The sleeping during the day sucked.

Overnight shift is brutal. They enjoy doing this?
I enjoy it since we never deal with traffic. It’s nice once you get use to it.
