I am 52 year's old and have been involved with dance music and the club industry since the mid 80's. From hard disco, techno, trance, acid and psychedelic rave, drum & bass, jungle through to hardcore. It essentially all comes back to my favourite and a global movement and scene that is 'House Music'. Whilst my younger years favoured high energy Hard House and Acid house mixed with Tech house etc I have matured into Deep Funky vibes with a little bit of Latin Soul. House is a feeling and is eternal and I will always be listening to and enjoying it. This set from Sam Divine is exceptional from tune selection, uplifting tempo and brilliant timing and killer mixing. She and her studio work coupled with her collaboration and expertise with those boy's from Defected Records make them and her truly world class. Well done Sam! 10/10

One of the best live sets I've ever seen/heard. Balance in everything, subtle use of effects, soulful classic vocals, sticking to mixing routines she knows and letting every track breath. Game face and happy face at once and she's got the crowd in the palm of her hand. Exceptional! ...and her live mixing is up there with the best. Who ever the idiot shouting out at 45.30-> i wish she'd knocked him down. What he was saying no one could hear and he could have waited until her last track was going out. Disrupting p***e *f s**t!

The transition from tech house to Hip Hop by Dead Prez is out of control. Considering Hip Hop is at 78 bpm. Iv been trying do the same and I just can figure it out. Someone please explain.
add efx delay + filter high pass to hip hop on last beat or better on last word of track (deck 1) and lower level while raising a loop of the rap voice (2 deck same song loaded and prepared before) + a loop with no kick (high pass filter ok if desire) that gives groove (play with filter in out to give beat).

People are peaceful but many (or most) go to parties to "have a good time" with alcohol and drugs, and not many among them go actually for the music. In my opinion if people in general listened and understood the lyrics and the meaning behind them (in millions of songs) the world would become a better place even faster.
