My thoughts? I picture it as Tae creating V, the persona. Him walking and dancing by himself, in the theater (the performer), walking with a teddy bear (the child in him), group dancing (surrounded by people who have influenced him.) And in the end, he discovers "paradise" when he finally sees his creation of V and somewhat accepts it that it's definitely a part of him. Winter is Tae's favorite season and, through it all, when winter comes, he still feels warmth even in the cold because he knows he will always have his creation with him. So the girl is also a part of him, his many facets of his persona. Truly a masterpiece!
Ppl surrouded by him disappeared ..... The girl disappeared last .....So ??? Teddy bear is ' winter bear ' refference ... ...as this is a Winter song I think.....The Stardom ( stage ) created by IDOL V in Red and The girl ( Armys) ppl around him in white dress ( his creations ) means :- his ' PARADISE ' disapear in the End ...... IDOL V just accepts the reality that the Stardom and Love from army, and everything that surrounded by him just for the short period of time ... after that he himself the only one ( The real persona Kim Taehyung in black ) he has to rely on in life..........
My theory is the red tae is the sculpture has an x marked on him and so does the woman sculpture has a x mark and the dark real v came back towards the end i think the red tae and woman were just living within there imagination but it wasn’t reality. Can’t wait for the cinematic version cause this this mv was already cinematic it could of been a movie tbh Our true artist Kim Taehyung killing it again showing why he is in BTS and why he’s our unique jazz pop king cause there not many jazz pop artists out there there all mostly pop or rap but I love that he’s bring jazz pop back into the music industry it definitely needs something new and refreshing sounds in the kpop industry and within Hollywood industry itself tbh
My theory is, red Tae was a creation that Black Tae who was the real Tae, when he was making the sculpture Tae (red Jacket) he put so much of his feelings into it that he brought it to life, just after he had an accident at the house and the Red Tae was living his imaginary life while black Tae was unconsious, red Tae was surrounded with people in white which in reality were sculptures, even the girl, which at some point was part of the life of the real Tae, red Tae was just building a life based in the memories and work of his creator, when the creator(black Tae) came conscious, he confronted him, red Tae knew that all those were not his memories but his creator's memories, the blood in the head of the black Tae was evidence that his memories were gone, living in the red Tae who at the end understood he was also a creation made with the feeling and thoughts of the creator, he felt sad because he knew nothing was real beyond his imagination, even himself.
There are a lot of theories about This MV, is a masterpiece very deep and complex. The song is beautiful and conforting, a winter song. Thanks for your reaction 💜
Thanks for the reaction ♡ The last man in black that Tae met is also Taehyung, and there are a lot of considerations about the last meeting between the two. Pakshihyung sings in a new music video that came out today, in which the two of them appear together, so please watch it if you like💜
The protagonist Tae we follow most the MV is the sculpture. And all the sculptures were created, the people at the party, also sculptures. Also I think the mark on the sculpture is V not an X… like an artists signature… think because of the medium it looks like an x to some. I love the cinematic still version just as much as this one. Also a moment for the heavenly vocals of Tae and Park Hyo shin and their harmony. P.s biggest lesson I think anyone should learn through Tae’s MV’s, things are not what they appear to be at first glance. It’s funny to me how many interpreted the MV based on glimpses of it with their theories etc. But if we watch the whole thing a different story emerges. A good Metaphor for life in my eyes. 💜
I found it... interesting that mostly Tae's MVs are all about him feeling lonely. I wish this man get married asap 🤭 just because I want (them) happy and fullfiled. dear lord...
Oh really??? 😒🙄So according to your finding rest of them doesn't feeling lonely..... its bcuz of someone were there in their life or with them already ??? So NO need to be get married asap right?? 😜😂😂
Paradise is one of my favourite BTS songs and the Lana del Rey reference is spot on...elegantly dark. I thought black coated Tae was a call back to Fri(ends)...
The story is from Greek mythology. Pygmalion, played by V in this narrative, was a Cypriot sculptor who, in Ovid's Matamorphoses, pledged to remain celibate and devote himself solely to his art. One day, he sculpted a beautiful woman out of ivory alabaster. She was so perfect that he fell in love with her. On Aphrodite's festival day, Pygmalion quietly wished for a bride with the living likeness of his "ivory girl." Aphrodite granted him that wish, and the sculpture became human. This is where V's story and Ovid's story diverge. In Ovid's narrative, Pygmalion marries the sculpture-turned-human. In V's narrative, there is no happy ending -- only the realization that artistic perfection takes human form only in the fictive world of mythology.
Hi there from all the theories I have been searching this is the one I think is the best : black jacket tae sculpted Red jacket Tae (also think RJtae tried to Kill BJTae hence the head wound) when he found the sculpture of himaelf then dissciatef from. Then RJTae got lonely and made friends and get love interest and remember he himself is a living sculpture when BJTae showed up to bust his bubble (for lack or better words) love from Spain 🇪🇸
Also the dark jacket and heavy footsteps may represent the darkness in the sculptor’s life, while the red jacket and whitish colors may symbolize life and lightness.
Big credits to mr Park creating this MV to V 💜 and their smooth voices fits perfectly to this cinematic art. Maybe... end of the day there are Kim Tae; who we dont know and V; singer, actor, entertainer... and smiling in the end coz he has found and accept himself? 😅
honestly it looks like he's dreaming with a perfect life, with perfect wife, perfect friends but it's clearly not real, not even this version of him since the real one appears at the end bleeding and hurt... the mirror scene that there's a glimpse in his face, like 2 sides of him... yeah... with the new MV that just came out I have thoughts.... but I would never dare to say cause would make a lot of people mad...
I'm never sure if I have these theories right... but my take is that the Tae we see moving through life is a sculpture. And everything happening is his dream of having a life of his own. He falls deeper and deeper into the delusion/fantasy, creating his own sculpture that comes to life with him. But something is wrong - he can feel it, but doesn't know exactly what it is... one day, his sculpture breaks, and it starts to become more obvious to him that something is wrong. The party scene, I think, is his last attempt at holding on to this life that he's created for himself - these people are the other sculptures scattered around the room, come to life, and they're all so happy and carefree - like he wants to be. But as the party goes on, that uneasy feeling of wrong-ness comes back, and the party suddenly feels sinister. Then Tae himself, the real Tae, appears in the fantasy - finally breaking through to sculpture Tae that all of this has been but a dream. Which is why he sadly smiles at his creation, who returns his smile, albeit while crying - none of it was real. It's such a bittersweet ending - he was able to live a fraction of a life, but at the cost of losing everything. My two cents ^^;
Me screaming to my tv: it is a V!!! Not an X! It is a V Landooonnnn!!! 😂😂

The other logo is Hyoshin’s own entertainment agency who also produced the video and song.
You know what I'm confused when I first watched this mv but now it all make sense to me thanks for breaking it down 👍😉💜

Мысли свои нужно высказать! Здесь романтика,любовь и что то загадочное..❤
@19:20 Noticed that, too.
The people in White are Also Sculpture. Tae donned the Red Jacket, thinking he was Different

@LandonMark you took me out with that statement!
I think the acceptance at the end was it was fun while it lasted ...
It's like an episode of Black Mirror.

Para... dies. 🤯
It's based on the Pygmalion myth. The main character isn't a statue, though. As we can see from this example.

Boring
I had a thought, too, that would be unpopular but even I don't want it to be true. But I do so want him to be content whatever he chooses.

May be his late grandma who raised him and she is no more now..but in his imagination... he wants to dance with her...
Don't call yourself "warm & dry" that's just -- false advertising 🤣
