Does anyone out there have the program where "Fred Rogers"come s to visit the "Captain,s Place"and sing the song "It,s You I Like"?I wish this show was on dvd in stores and not on line like "Amazon"rest in pease "Bob Keeshan"And "Fred Rogers"you guys were the best.
@@WEPDRabbitEarsTV Yes, Fred Rogers made not only one, but TWO guest appearances in episodes of 'Captain Kangaroo'. One was in 1971 and the second was in 1975, during which he visited the Captain's Place to see if Captain had a replacement part for Fred's Victrola.
That opening song just made me cry..... I haven't heard that song in 50 years I loved that show every morning with breakfast

dave adamson I asked my friend from the Mister Rogers' Archive and he said Mister Rogers was never on Captain Kangaroo.
Yes he was he came to the capatains place and was looking for something he found.
