Imagine! And some people are busy applauding him. This is an embarrassment. If his family didn’t break the law just go to court. Given Lubinda went to court and he was acquitted. Bowman and his wife have cases in court and they are turning up whenever summoned so why can’t the Lungu family face the courts quietly instead of this constant dragging Zambians into matters that don’t concern us. Those properties are theirs alone so court issues shouldn’t concern all Zambians just go and answer sir. If you have bank statements to prove the millions of dollars used to amass your wealth then let your lawyers prove the courts wrong.

I would rather those who interviewed former president ECL the following Questions.
1. What else do you think to do for the Zambian people which you haven't done for 7 years under your reign
2. Under his regime of 7 years,he failed to end cadrism, violence, gassing,killing innocent people, etc. HH in just 2 years and some months,Zambians are now at peace. Why didn't he do in those 7 years?
3. Bursaries were given to people whose parents are well to do but now it goes to the right people. Why did he fail to do so?
4. HH brought back rule of law,debt restructuring,emploey 30,000 plus teachers and 11,000 plus health personnel? Why did he not employ under his 7 years in power?
5. HH beat ECL with over 1,000,000 plus votes. Which criteria is he going to use to gain those votes?
6. Free education and more money in CDF. What is he going to do?
7. ECL is blaming HH for the high cost of leaving caused by climate change and badly hit by the drought? What is the connection between HH and God? When he voted in according to his imagination, is he going to end climate change and give the Zambian people enough rains?
8. Does he know that the Bible teaches us always,bitterness, hatred,anger etc does not not produce righteousness of God. Under his regime,he promised his cadres to arrest HH and be jailed for whatever his political gain. Ask him if HH has arrested him? Ask him where the his freedom is currently enjoying comes from?
9. Is ECL wants to come back for the Zambian people or his personal gain to fulfill his words to arrest president HH,brings back cadrism,violence, gassing,killing innocent people etc?
If I was in position of advising him,I would have loved him to just being the father of the nation than being deceived by people around him. Some of we appreciate some of the things he worked committedly for Zambian people.

ECL is so bad at interviews. If he’s going to continue this trend he needs training on how to answer questions. Otherwise he will arm his opponents if this is the best he can do. That aside - I cannot believe how detached from reality our former president is. ECL presided over the most brutal regime Zambia has ever seen. He never addressed the cadres, theft by graft, regionalism and the harsh treatment of his political rivals. The problem today is hunger - that is all. The rest can be easily overcome.

HH is a good man and we thank him for trying his best to respect the constitution which protects the rights of citizens including Lungu's. Lungu did a lot of wrong and horrible politics during his time but only God has power to reward him accordingly.
I like the interviewer's questions. He was candid, respectful and still aimed at him.
My honest analysis (as a Malawian), is Lungu seems disingenuous and powe hungry.
Its never a good thing for a political leader who is motivated to run because he's tired of being persecuted.
