You're right, they never miss. To me they have one of the best discographies in the whole kpop, because they have songs for anybody basically. You're a hype song lover? There you have it, you're a ballad guy? You have plenty of beautiful ballads that showcase their magnificent vocals and I could go on. They are my ult group, I love them so much
It's a pity the DVD doesnt show the backround in the halahala live because in real life they had images of halateez perfomance and the real life performance chnaging constantly!
Fun fact: 54:17 here the umbrellas that Wooyoung and San are holding represent their duo name woosan, which means “umbrella” in Korean. Also, the umbrellas say “amicus ad aras” which means “friend until the end” and is the phrase that they both have matching tattoos for on their legs.
Desire is one of the very few Ateez songs that I didn't love on first listen, but it settled for me when I saw it done live. The stage delivery of the last part of the song really gels the song into place for me, and now it's solidly in the Ateez mix for me.
A heard another HALA HALA theory that I like. Wooyoung has something holding him back from the mission, so he doesn't "kill himself" like the others do. But of course everything it just theories and guesses.
Light is very special to me too. It was their first vocal-centric song where everybody sang. Seeing Light showcase performance sealed the Atiny spirit in me and paved the way to me becoming a Hottoek.

I believe the theory of Wooyoung being evil is a remnant of that time when Atiny didnt know who the Halateez were and thought they might be bad guys. And then you get to Answer when it is revealed that they are alter egos or allies or something. As to why hes the last one standing couldnt say.
It's super hard to choose a bias in this group 😅 Yeosang is the one that stands out the most to me right now, but it changes all the time, they are all just so good! Probably will be easier once I watch some of their variety content 🥰

Desire is probably my favorite song from this Album, which is saying a lot cause Say my Name & Hala Hala are INSANE. But the lyrics and the meaning, plus the choreo for Desire is what sold me on it. I think the genre for Desire is HOUSE, but the lore for it ties into Rookie Ateez & Halateez Hongjoong. If you didn't notice in the choreo, they make a heart and trap Hongjoong. For, Halateez Hongjoong, his initial idea of ATEEZ, was this 'suicide squad' in the Lore going against Z and Oppression. Halateez is all for helping Halateez Hongjoong, but he's very 'my,me,I' centered. You can say, he's very Red, like most of this Album & even the album cover. The rest of Halateez are also red, but not as red or fueled by Desire/Passion as Hongjoong. They are more, 'us,we and the journey/friends' centered. But, it's not a bad thing all together, as Passion/Desire/Ambition are needed to achieve their dreams/goals. Halateez HJ learns this along the way, even becoming more Blue with Aurora- the song he made for atinys & lightinys being a sea of lights for ateez (their song/mv) & then Wonderland (hongjoong having blue hair and siting on a throne of red that could symbolize his red past. That's just a bit I love about Desire. The song itself always motivates me and this entire album has to be my second fave from them. The first being OUTLAW cause boi is that AMAZING. PS> this is just a bit of colour theory from Atinys and a Theory atiny on YT called tinybugink. She states that ATEEZ is on a colour scheme, mostly red/blue or like begining/end, up/down, but remember ateez is 8 so they are also infinity, meaning they are both red & blue. So you need Desire/Passion AND friends/the journey along the way to accomplish your goal or in this case, find the treasure
