Another fabulous video and cannot wait to increase my equestrian output and activities as well as animal related activities post pandemic and once lockdown measures cease. For Chilli, when he is riding, I have seen multiple horses wear like full fly mask like things. Its basically a fly mask but it has loops for putting the bridle through. Might be worth a shot since you said he is better with a fly mask?
First I haven’t watched it but know I am going to love Edit: I also cleaned all my tack today because my horse has/had colic so she isn’t being ridden😭
To sterilize/thoroughly clean bits, I recommend soaking them in boiling water. I normally boil water in a kettle and then pour it over my bits in a ceramic container and let then soak for an hour. I also scrub the bits with a toothbrush beforehand and doing this monthly keeps my bits sparkly clean and in tip-top shape.
Tip for starting a horse jumping make the jumps solid (not like xc fences ones that appear solid so if the knock it down it won’t hurt them) it makes them pic up there feet and learn how to jump that’s how we taught our horses who just wanted to run through fences 💚
