Tämä, hienoon medodiseen jaksoon , mielestäni sopii myvin. Aika muutuu , ja Laila laulaa italiaa hyvin. Mutta onhan tämä niin teini musaa Lailalle. Hyvä kuitenki!!!!
@greatbighand Hello there, Laila Kinnunen was a famous finnish female singer in 50s-60s. In 60s she had a once month a tv-show, where she performed the hits of the day in orginal language. She singed in 7 different languages. They never made any records of those songs. all the best.
For the most of the hit, she is indistinguishable from a native italian. We italians and finnsh read in the same way and when I've been in Helsinki I talked to peaple with my few finnish phrases (I like finnish) with correct pronunciation or reading from books in where I didn't understand nothing. Is similar except for Y that is near german ü...
I don't quite get it: was this meant for the finnish market? I presume it was, as I never heard it in Italy and the market here was already owned by Pitney and Little Tony original versions. So then, why didn't she sing it in finnish? Anyway, her italian is almost faultless.
