Give thanks to our God,

who’s spreading abroad,

by the least of his servants, the fragrance of grace.

for the work he has done:

All honour and glory to Jesus alone!
Our conquering Lord
has honoured his word,
and made it prevail,
and mightily shaken the kingdom of hell.
His arm he has bared
and a people prepared
his glory to show,
and sing out the power of his passion below.
He has opened the door
to the humble and poor
and welcomed them in;
delivered them from the guilt and the power of sin.
Good news they believe
and forgiveness receive
through the blood of the Lamb
and plentiful pardon in Jesus’ name.
So now let us sing
of our Saviour and King;
his witnesses stand,
ascribing with joy our salvation to God and the Lamb.
Our Jesus has blessed,
and believers increased,
who gratefully say
they are freely forgiven through mercy and grace.
His Spirit revives
his work in our lives,
the wonders of grace
accomplished with power in the apostolic days.
O that people today
might sing out his praise,
because they’ve believed,
and discovered the joy of his pardon and peace.
O Saviour of all,
effectively call
lost sinners that stray;
yes, Lord, let a nation be born in a day.
And so spread abroad
the knowledge of God,
like the sea with its waves,
