Do you acknowledge the double standard or not? Reminds me of how when Kevin Gates got groped by female fans, he kicked them and went to jail and people labeled the women who groped him as the victims. People don’t take the sexualization of men seriously but call out the sexualization of women all the time. Do you acknowledge that or is it just jealousy? And I rock with Aaron, so there’s no jealousy coming from me. I don’t hate on black people winning. When we call out sexualization, it’s jealousy, but when women call it out, is it jealousy too? Or something to be taken seriously?
Omg! I am sick and tired of this generation. Too sensitive. For years, women and men have lusted after or had a crush on a good-looking man or women for years. Dang! Not everyone is offended by someone liking them. Just don't put your hands on them or grab their private parts. That's inappropriate.
The problem with this claim is that it may have been worse to even verbally go too far with women. Emmett Till. And despite the racism of that instance it made sense to protect women and girls. Too many men go back and fourth with acknowledging that women are more emotional and function differently than males. At the same time I am so sick of men claiming that the Internet, buildings, planes, and medical equipment are built by foot ball players with larger privates. So, Euclid, Newton, Einstein, Zuckerberg, and Serena William's husband made a difference with their violent natural and physical strength? I bring this up because some men do in fact brush off jokes at their expense and unfair treatment thinking hard work will make a difference. Then many after years find out while their teachers, professors, ht managers, front leads, yout shelter monitors, and gym workers made verbal comparisons like your libhter skin color meant your privates were garbage even thought the rules are magically different for any weaker white or asian man, you have been passed over for everything. White and Asian women in authority constantly having things in these places get out of hand because of the useless men they spend time favoring because they fondle their privates and talk dirty with them while slurring anf slandering others.
Eh. I think this is a fine conversation to have considering social media is VERY new regarding civilization. Thirty years ago, people didn’t have this kind of access to celebrities. There’s nothing wrong with finding someone attractive and making note of it, but when there are hundreds of thousands of comments soliciting sexual favors, it becomes harassment. He’s a very attractive man, but it wouldn’t kill people to take it down a notch. Save it for the group chat lol.
@blkluvchnl This conversation like others just get stirred the same unfaithful directions. Otherwise, the topic does get attention. I remember about to launch in to defend a girl that a bully pushed up to the lockers and started rubbing her breast and crouch as he introduced himself. The girl was grinning like she was in pure bliss. I was horrified. She was a quiet pretty girl that was in the same gifted student program I was in. My cousin told me girls were like that and I thought he was going to get into trouble one day. Now over 30 years later I have seen worse often at work, gyms, and school work. But we see men getting into trouble for things they did at least that long ago. Even when the women played with them slapping behinds and talking dirty in places like school bus bases men have gotten fired for harassment. So, men should be logical and honest enough to not do certain things in certain places. Even when the women are in authority showing me favor women often are foolish enough to compare and harass men just doing what they should. So, men often cause violence and work place issues playing into it.
Why does everything call for a discussion or a conversation? All he did was have fun and dance down the aisle and, yet, it somehow gets turned into sexual objectification? I don't get it.
Not ALL black men are being adored in this conversation, only the one with hazel eyes and light skin with British accent. Stop throwing a blanket over the topic.
No… bbc is the most searched topic on the internet… and mR yellow hazel don’t got that. This convo is about the objectification of all black men, get over it.
Please, let's call this what it is - jealousy! Interesting that only men were on the panel. If this is journalism, let's get both gender's perspectives. I didn't even listen to the panel. Mr. Pierre, if you're reading this, we celebrate you, your gratefulness, humility and wish even more blessings and opportunities for you going forward! To the men, please don't hate, emulate!
How does the points made in this video have anything to do with the Aaron Pierre video? All the comments said he was fine. I must have missed the mass of comments that objectified him.
Same. I came across 1 thread tht said they didn't realize it went viral bc of his downstairs as she thought it was bc he did a funny dance and most in the comment didn't know what she was talking abt. As every video I watched they laughed and complimented his looks
I only knew long after thg ppl were talking about his package. Like I watched the video many times and my eyes never went there. When I watch it after seeing a thread about it, I don't see what would spark that convo... Moving on
I'm just 18 so you grown folk let me know if im overreacting but i feel that it's fine to have crushes etc some of the little flirty comments have me laughing but it gets to the point where whatever hes talking about is getting ignored or it's like nothing hes saying matters at all.All the comments are just about his looks which obviously can't be helped. But i want people to see him for his talents, as well his work in Brother or National Geographic series Genius: MLK/X. as Malcolm x was beautiful along with his Voice acting and singing for Mufasa,Rebel ridge fire loved it.Im all for black men being appreciated and adored But i feel there's a limit you know between attraction and obsession now people are fighting over his type on women and what race she is etc it's just weird to me I guess I just dislike when talent is looked over when someone is attractive its annoying when that's all thats talked about which i know can't be helped 😅
@@ToniaAlex13 Most definitely and even in some of his interviews he's always grateful to have questions that retain to his work or about the film he's in I'm sure he's flattered by the comments but like I said it gets to a point where it's annoying all the comments the same never about the movie or the show just how handsome he is and next thing you know there's gonna be another rising handsome black actor coming through and he'll be last week news it always happens

I wish ppl would listen to him more instead of focusing only on his body and eyes. I even say a short of the Kelly clarkson interview and I didn't like how she said it's hard to focus on what you are saying or I can't here what u are saying. That was distasteful to me. And as a woman I wouldn't want a man or another woman saying stuff like that to me.

It's all fun and games until it takes a serious toll on your professional life. Dealing with someone who handles rejection poorly can have significant and unforeseen consequences on your career.
Sometimes, its flattering, but sometimes, its offensive. I've had comments made about my body that made me smile and I didn't mind, but I've also been touched inappropriately and unwarranted and there's been some things said that we're taken way too far.
Basketball-americans are so intimidated by WM. Truth is, we are just better. WM are at the top of the food chain. We are the strongest and the brightest. We are the most powerful group of men in the world. The most feared, the most respected, the most desired. We are everything you want to be, but are not.

Nobody was been harrased as far as we know and have seen or touched. And this thing is totally harmless, and people jumped on the wagon off the "That's Mufasa" trend online. Plain simple.
A lot of bw have this deep, insidious jealousy of WW. I didn't realize it was THAT deep, but it is. The reason BW hardly date outside of their race is because they can't. BWs options are very slim. And there must be a reason for that right? WW are gorgeous and they come in every hair texture, style, color, etc. WW are stunning and their fair skin tones and gorgeous features make people's hearts melt. I've never seen anyone get surgery to make their nose bigger, have you?
