- At a packed North Sydney Oval for the Sydney Smash it was Ash Gardner who stole the show, plundering 85 off just 48 balls to propel the Sixers to a match-winning total over the Thunder in an entertaining clash
This Sixers team may be the best we have seen in the WBBL, the top five batters have all scored over 280 runs, they have four bowlers with over 12 wickets and a couple of youngsters in Peterson and Genford who look good as well.

@@amireallythatgrumpy6508 as I said,she was out of the wbbl for two years,all the other teams swapped and signed new players as well,so I find it to be a harsh statement. Their core is still very much the same for the last few years,changing overseas players shouldn’t be seen as buying all the ,”bigger players”, unless you wanted to just watch them keep struggling as the last few seasons!
Your ignorance is blinding, you need to check your facts before making dumb statements, Perry, Gardener, Healy, Cheatle and Burns have been together since WBBL 02. Last year they let Kapp and Van Nierkirk go after six odd years. The team has never changed much.
