Best bathrooms i have ever seen. I was in Dallas last year and my Ant rented a hotel room for me and my mother and to my shock and awwwwww lol that was the first bathroom i have ever been in that was wheelchair compatible i have ever used. And i loved it too. Its not as nice as the one you where in in this video but. It sure beat the heck out of staying at someones house and you can't get around in and use the bathroom on your own.
Hi Awesome Tennyle, Here T7 Paraplegic from India, Glad your video coming with all cheers after long time, Wondering your videos not seen for long time and bit worried and Wishing only all good things to come to you
Hello Tanelle, it's so great to see you again! All the videos you've made are excellent and future one will be as amazing. Wishing you the very best.......always.
Hi Tanelle! What a joy to see you again, they have taken care of all the details of the room, spectacular, thank you, don't be late in coming back 👌🏼♿💯
LOVE it! The handles on the curtains/blinds are so nice. I love that this hotel had BOTH a tub and shower in it! Good call out on the places to hang your towels though. I'd make sure the hotel knows - that's such an easy fix!!
So good to hear from you, Tanelle! And right in my back yard. So glad to see that the new hotels they built on the Wharf do great with accessibility. That bathroom was amazing! They took care of every need. It’s nice that you can just get an accessible room and not have to do an ala carte style conversation to do so. I hope you enjoyed DC despite the heat
So good to see you, it’s been far too long since your last video. Great to see hotel’s stepping up, like this one. Got to meet a dear friend of yours, Bean, in Toronto in February. I was there for a Nero-trauma conference, and Bean was doing CBC press interviews. Ends up Bean is very good friends with the couple I traveled down to Toronto to the conference. We ended up having dinner together that evening with Bean, she’s a lovely person. The funny thing is I passed her in the hall earlier, when I was taking my service dog out to pee, and I said to myself I know her from somewhere. When she came to dinner it dawned on me it was from the Tv show Push, small world we live in. Hope all is well with you.
So good to see you back with a new video. The hotel setup is a dream, not what I've run into even close in the past 22yrs as a para. What were you in DC for? Tourism or business? As an older teen in the late 60s, I moved there from Hawaii (great sadness) but the DC area has so many great places to visit & see. I hope you will do a video on your stay in DC and visit.
Hi! love the room, but not the price. :) Good looking gal too. Most rooms I visit I must check things like, the height of the bed and toilet the most. I always travel with a 6 " toilet seat riser. I'm glad you made this video, that bathroom is huge as all should try to be. I just bought the Handi cup two weeks ago after just seeing your past video review of it, thanks, Love supporting disabled small businesses
Good to see a new video from you! I'm actually in a wheelchair as well and I had a visit to DC visiting a brother of mine at Galludet University. We were in an air B+B. It's always interesting when you have to find a way to make your living arrangements work for you. Luckily there was room for me to get around without bumping into everything and make it work.
Awesome to see another video, I watch the other ones a lot. Keep picking up tricks and tips from the old ones. Room looks great. Love to see these whenever they come out!! Thanks for the tour.
thanks for the support! ❤ will try to upload more content for you guys, dont forget to subscribe so you can get a notification once a new upload gets in! 😁
I've never understood the functional design of the cutout bench seat in the roll-in shower. I find it hard to transfer onto them because the cutout makes it especially challenging to position myself -- my legs (knee height) want to advance forward as I transfer and the cutout wedges them in. I know of not a single para who has this style of bench seat in their home.
Hello stranger! Pro tip from an avid lock picking hobbyist: do not trust those hotel room safes. They are not only very easy to defeat but most staff have the override code to open them. Hide your Rolex well, maybe dig a hole. 😉
I tell ya once you have used a completely compatible handicapped bathroom while traveling makes you not want to travel at all if you can't find one where ever you're traveling to!!!!

How does the visual alarm work? I liked the thermostat at our level.
this is amazing! it almost makes me want to travel
Great video. Not perfect, but good to see access through the ADA at work.
What type of travel cushion do you use for travel and shower?
I mean hello back ❤

Top class, but not the best I witnessed. But this should be a minimum at least.
Why don't they demand treatments for this misfortune of spinal injury, this has killed thousands of paralyzed people????
