Teleport is 100% the right call on Morgana. Any champion that scales well with levels wants Teleport over a combat spell - even at "one spell one kill", Teleport is likely to outperform anything else you can take. The only time you'd want to consider something else (imo) is against an all physical-damage team that has no cc, since then all points in Black Shield are dead points and there's no reason to rush toward those last levels. But even then, hitting each level earlier before that gives you a more comfortable game AND guards mid tower (since you are under it rather than still walking back while an enemy wave crashes). So it's still arguable that Teleport will outperform. It's on champions like Yuumi where Teleport is utter trash. W doesn't need extra points, and R is so terrible that points in it do little/nothing. Q's base damage is decent, E's base shield is decent... but Yuumi gets to level 9 and is very nearly at full power already other than items, so Teleport becomes pretty terrible almost immediately. I have seen it used well by other Yuumi players to compensate for teammates leaving her behind at recall, as a way to avoid buying boots... but tbh, Yuumi might as well buy boots if teammates aren't making sure their Yuumi has a ride to lane AND Yuumi's best chance to survive after the ADC is killed is to have boots. Yuumi is always worth a bit, since she doesn't die often. But I digress.
personally, i really like to run exhaust o Morgana mid, or ignite xD depends on how i wanna play that day ahaha the dmg reduction really throw peole off, of helps you set a Q, or a gank, when you are low on health or Q is on cd. Ignite if you feel super aggressive
same for me, really hated when pro players started to play her as a support and got nerfed, i remember i've refused to play her support for like 2/3 seasons xD
When Morg Q’s for prediction, they stand still, and when she puts it where they are, they dodge-totally not your fault. You landed a ton of Q’s this game. Also, nice work calling plays and coaxing your jg back into the game.
I don't play league often anymore, but when I do Morg mid is such a comfort pick. Super happy to see you playing her mid and love watching it done so amazingly!

Last season my mid laner was autofilled and duo with the ADC. I swapped with him and picked Morgana into Yasuo. The, now, support was confused because why pick Morg as a mid laner. Well. I was the only one to win lane that game. Gotta love Gold.
comment before watching the video: Morgana actually started as a mid laner, she has been basically untouched until in season 4 pro players started to see that she was also strong as a support and her downfall began (can't forget that ban rate, even though it will never reach kassadin's) She was my first main in season 2 (i still remember i had bought varus, then refund it and bought Morgana and twitch xD) and i even played her jungle in season 3 (that game went like this: me - gl hf! enemy team, laughing - yeah, you will need it me - *gank top level 2, enemy burn flash, rotate mid and get first blood* they said nothing for the rest of the game :D) ok, not to watch the video (agree on teleport btw, let's see if you got roa like i do) EDIT: ok, i'll try to comment as i watch. As you said yourself, you were way too aggressive in lane, using a lot of mana, also level 3 W clears caster minions, so you can focus on Q dmg if you have a high skillshot precision (Q has a high ap% scaling and W is more of an execute since it deals more dmg the lower the hp)
That's a fun pick but probably not a good blind one. For example I think Swain just out trades and out sustains you. also his E has a much shorter CD than morg's shield
Morg mid player here. Swain is a matchup morgana laughs at. While he might beat her in terms of sustain bc his identity as a drain tank is stronger than her half identity as one, her Q negates his ult pretty heavily making him unable to get max value out of its up time. And her build of double burn BFT + Liandrys + Oblivion is going to make his healing cut significantly and as he stacks HP, she just gets to do more dmg to him. I stomp most Swains. Her QWR combo is going to unload more dmg upfront with W finishing off than Swain trying to get you with E into his R and unreliable W. Morgana if anything, is going to struggle against burst mages who are able to overwhelm her with consistent poke and range. Xerath is a good example. Syndra as well. Viktor is no fun either.
I only play Morg mid...unless I get auto-filled support and I know my adc will be trash. Then I'll pick her cause I know I can carry. Her damage output is stupid (I love it)

I have actually been playing her and Seraphine Mid very commonly recently, have played like 20 games almost, only lost like 3-4.
