As much as I love these scare cams, I will say this: if you have to scream louder than your intended victim, you have failed! Ok, air horns don't really count for this but they are kind of crude.... it doesn't take that much to get a reaction from someone as long as they don't know you're there! Generally all it takes is a spoken word in a normal voice, something like "Hello!" or even just a "Hi!" will work, as will a bark or growl. Some people are so jumpy you don't have to actually say anything, they screech as soon as they see you! Unfortunately my wife is like that, in fact I scare her quite often just by accident! It would seem that after 27 years of marriage she would be used to having me around but that is not the case. I fear that if I intentionally scared her she could die of fright! But the loud yells and screams are just not necessary! Especially if you drown out your intended victims scream!
One last word of advice, be careful who you prank, some of us are primed to strike out when startled!
