Creative That's the biggest problem with Jurassic World. It's an action movie, and thus, almost inevitably, it relies on a long chain of stupid decisions. My big problem was the "This is happening with or without you" scene, before the raptor hunt. Without him? You're going to try and use the raptor pack, without the alpha's help? That's just straight up stupid. If Owen had just been like, "Um, without me, they'll just start eating your guys," what would the other guy have done? Hell, Owen could barely stop them from eating that scrawny, bony intern. They'd look at Vincent D'Onofrio like he was a three layer cake.
The Bill Withers Jurassic World would be very, very safe for humans, and very, very unsafe for dinosaurs. They'd all have explosive collars, and I would NOT be shy about blowing their heads off if necessary. Hell, we can build a new Indominus Rex, we've already got the genes. BOOM. What? The raptors are turning on us? B-B-B-BOOM. Etc... My park would also make for a terrible summer action movie.

To be fair, her outrunning a T-rex to begin with made no sense since we saw it keep up with a speeding jeep for some time in the first movie. Her doing so in heels just made a ridiculous scene laughably worse.

In the Junior Novelization of Jurassic World , it says that one point Claire goes barefoot while tracking the Indominus Rex with Owen Grady. But that also carries a higher risk of likely hurt, contracting a virus / parasite , or stepping in something bad.
@@juliancaraveo5700 stepping in something bad could happen with or without shoes. Admittedly picking up a parasite or injuring one's feet is far more likely when going barefoot. Regardless, with shoes or without, nobody could outrun a dinosaur. She'd only have had a better chance of getting to safety in bare feet or sneakers.

Their "cousins" (other raptors closely related to Velociraptors) have been found fosilised with feathers. I think one of the better known ones is Sinoraptor? So, no, you can't 100% accurately potray a dinosaur, because it is impossible to know what kind of color they where, for example. But Velociraptor did have feathers and was smaller than what the Jurassic Park franchise shows us

#2 was in the movie. They were trying to run for the small door when the I-Rex cut them off. Big door is for if/when they need to transport the dino from the enclosure. Aw nuts.

It was planned to be a star attraction so it was built with the intention to have it transported somewhere. They were dumb and didn't know having it in there all its life would be a bad idea.

I love how the Indominus is supposed to be so violent and antisocial that the first thing it did when it hatched was eat its sibling... But still manages to become the alpha of the raptor pack after meeting them ONCE...

I like how because they are mocking the movie, they gave the Indominus a nasal, calm voice, which completely turns away from her aggressive and hostile behavior.
And they do that why?

One thing that gets commonly overlooked about this movie is that scene. They're in a garage for servicing those jeeps, surrounded by tools and spare parts, with a second jeep to cannibalize more parts from. That line about fixing their relative's classic car means that they could plausibly have enough experience with vehicle mechanics to replace more than just a battery.

The reason there is a dinosaur sized gate. Is because that was a temporary holding facility. Until they built the real habitat.
But they should at least have human-sized gates. No point in risking the giant killing machine getting out.

Has anyone ever thought that all the failings of the Indominus enclosure (such as no moat, a Dino-sized door) could be due to Hoskins and/or Wu interfering with construction, therefore making it easier for the dinosaur to escape so they could run their field test?
The Pikachu Brothers Owen probably has ways of getting his raptors back there. They've probably done that hide and seek drill over and over again, and he has special commands and ways to get them to follow him back home

The scene where the Indominus escapes is always buy picked, but it shouldn't be.
1. They enter the paddock through a human sized door, so there IS more than just a huge door.
2. The reason they don't use said door is because the Indominus blocks their path. They start running for the small door first, the Indominus steps out in front, and they run for the big door.
3. The big doors need to exist, because the paddock is a temporary holding pen, not an exhibit. How else could they transfer the animal?

@Chris: To quote Owen, do you hear yourself when you talk? An elevator? You're going to take a 20 ton, 50 foot long creature on an elevator? A ramp? You would need an inconceivably long ramp. A helicopter could work, but that would be very risky for such a short trip with a multi-million dollar animal. A big door that a big truck can fit through is the best option.
I guess you're right, the thing is that the movie takes place in this park wich is supposed to be bigger, better, safer and the fact that they made this monster would suggest that they would be a little more "well prepared" for this kind of events. This movie really played with my suspension of disbelief, sorry I was trying to defend the video that really raised good points !
Chris8F3R The workers also didn't know what the Indominus Rex was made of, therefore they didn't know it could camouflage or change it's heat signature. (Which was how they located it in it's cage) So I don't blame Claire to panic and start heading to the control room to help track it down if she didn't know that.

Hammond sent in Ian and the crew to photograph the dinosaurs so the government would have reason to protect the island as a reserve.
