This has to be one of the best dramas ever been created. The way it tackles the suppressing reality yet provides an escape through JCW and how he surmounted his past is gonna be so inspiring and motivating. I read that people didn't like this drama because of the sudden singing even in serious situations. It's a musical so i dont know what people expected! I mean being an Indian I'm so used to songs in every scene because Bollywood does that😂 but I absolutely loved the songs and the music....the lyrics were so meaningful. I loved it❤️

The songs made it better. Its an amazing series, but will u leave u traumatised for days , well that was the case for me. the fact that I dreamt the magician return multiple times in a single night is the proof. Idk why is this so underrated . I mean its better than most of the overhyped dramas, an example is xo kitty. Everyone shoukd watch it atleast once in their lifetime, just be cautious you don't fall in love with the magician and then ur good.

Him acting this amazing role , literally all the characters and actors in here everything screams perfection , I never thought I would love a musical drama , this was beautifully written and played , just words cant depict the impact it has left on me and people like me ,its our comfort drama , our safe place tbh , and I am sure many of us will be running to this drama once in a while to feel good and cheer up it has become that type of a story , I just cant describe it in words ,I love this to my bone! I really hope there will be a season two because I want to feel this magical solace once again! With almost different circumstances this story will be even more beautiful and immaculate if it were to have a season 2!

I played the sings on repeat after completing the series specifically jcw and the first and last performance, the last musical performance sholed me and worjed as a healer for me after the shocked traumatising ending. But i dtill cried for two or three days time to time, remembering the magician 🎩 😭😭😭❣❣

I was expecting nothing, It delivered everything. I didn't actually like musicals that much but this one? This isn't just a musical. This is the entire therapy I didn't knew I needed. Today I was feeling hopeless and I came back to this particular scene/song and I just broke down. There's just no words to describe how much I love the work everybody put into this beautiful drama.
What's funny is the fact that some imposters comment about people disliking the series whereas there's not a single review accross YT mentioning the same! To all the delulu sympathizers presuming that haters of the series exist and are compulsively commenting the same as a publicity stunt -stop being a laughing stock!🤡 The show is trending at no.1 spot in more than 10 countries currently and is in the top 10 of almost 40+ countries! Figures speak more than your fake concern as to why people aren't seeing - everyone is not only re-watching but also appreciating the cast, songs, cinematography and plot altogether!🎩💕

Some concern in music part but its depend on the taste. Even I read alot of ppl who not into musical like this drama so much.
Even though dont't know about korean , my mind has now filled with these words 'Annara sumanara'. Every time and every where 'annara sumanara' , 'annara sumanara' , 'annara sumanara' ....😂😂
It's just Chuimsae made by a Korean webtoon artist. Koreans also heard it for the first time. The magic term originally used in Korea is "surisurimasuri".
When I started watching this amazing masterpiece of a show, I didn't know it was a musical and kept thinking why they kept bursting into songs lol. Now this show is officially my comfort show!!😍❤

I have rewatched this drama twice already, one was to follow the song lyrics closely, one was to see more in depth of Lee Eul's character expressions! Both aspects are mesmerising and really worth paying the attention to understand this coming of age story!

Finished the last episode only yesterday and I can't move on from it. When I listen to the soundtrack, the emotional scenes fill my mind. This has got to be one of the most poignant and meaningful kdramas ever made with incredible storytelling of escapism in a modern day world, emotion, character and acting! And the music is the highlight of this drama.
The duality and range of expressions delivered by Ji Chang Wook captivated my heart and soul, that it's hard to look away. It's like the character of Ri Eul is meant to be played by him, and him alone.

The magician never existed. If you were to think along this line, then everything will make sense to you.
He’s kinda like the reflection of all the individuals there. When Ah Yi finally found her own confidence or as you could say “magic”, she doesn’t need RI-eul and he disappeared as she had wanted.
The murderer sees RI-eul as a cloak of shadows lurking around dark corners, because that’s what the murderer himself is doing, lurking around the dark streets at night.
Ha-na is a nasty person, a bully, and you’ll see Ri-eul losing his temper and trying to strangle her...that reflects Hana as an extremely unhappy person full of self-loathe. That’s why she is so nasty. 😂
How you see the magician is how you see yourself. If you sympathise with him, you are a compassionate person. If you think he’s creepy or dark, that means you are harbouring deep unhappiness or is hiding something that you won’t want people to know about.
Lately Ji Chang Wook had said he’s enjoying the movie Fight Club. This movie is about an imaginary person that didn’t exist, so I am guessing Ri-eul is like in the role of Brad Pitt in Fight Club.
The itch on Il-deung’s neck could symbolise his own inner turmoil. The rash is making him uncomfortable yet he’s hiding it, he didn’t want others to know about it, not even his parents..he’s bottling up everything inside himself, tolerating the discomfort and unpleasantness. His Ri-eul makes him finally brave enough to let go and be himself ...opposing his parents to pursue his own happiness.
Like Ah Yi, her Ri-eul gives her hope of confidence to face her own adulthood and to be at peace within herself...
Ah Yi paid her bills using the money from Il-deung. Il-deung loves her and if there’s a season 2, I hope they will become a couple 👍😂

The love was there in first two episodes but after the exam deal it became awfull! na ildeun loved her in starting but ah yi didn't love him. Ah yi was Fallen for the magician. Maybe it's not that strong but the bond b/w magician & ahyi was magical & emotional. He gave him reasons to smile even in such a hard situation! Hoping to see them together in season 2 😊
The pregnant lady could be looking for her lost love. Her RI-eul could be her imaginary lover, as she would bring him food, a source of comfort. Perhaps she had lost the man she loves, we’ll never know...

Ji Chang wook - o Aladdin do momento e muito mais lindo do que o do live action. Ele é perfeito em tudo que toda se transforma em poesia. Nos vídeos de bastidores das novelas que ele fez (ele é super simpático com todos do alto escalão aos simples trabalhadores envolvidos set no de filmagem.) Para mim com que nos é mostrado, deve ser muito show trabalhar ao lado de um ator completo em tudo. Te amo de mais, te acompanho desde sua primeira novela. 100% fã BR.❤
