2:52 I just realized that this is Siyeon's signature move; Sua doesn't do it when covering her parts. It's Siyeon's unique charm that we miss ❤ (though of course Sua is doing an amazing job covering) Edit: It's also not in Hwang Sooyeon's choreography demo, so Siyeon probably added it in herself!
yeah i think sua is focusing more on hitting the notes well and being stable, which makes sense since she's covering for siyeon. I do hope she's not straining her voice bc i know she's had issues with her throat before
It's very Siyeon-esque. No one ever talks about Siyeon as a dancer much but I noticed for a long time now that she's highly expressive. She freestyles a lot of extra little things in the choreos. Some people think Sua Jiu and Yoohyeon are the dance trio but the way I see it Siyeon is tied with Sua. Sua is a more complete dancer across the board but Siyeon's style just goes hard. Girl can lock her chest like crazy.

However, she is one of the strongest female performers in gen 3 (if not the strongest) due to her stage presence alone being unmatched, yes as you noticed, she is extremely expressive, both feminine and masculine, both facial expression and movement. She is so versatile for many concepts, from being cute, fresh, happy to aggressive, powerful, she can do all flawlessly. I think Somnias are really well-awared of her stage presence though, just that we don't talk about it enough. People outside the fandom have no idea about Siyeon's stage presence, of course cause many barely know Dreamcatcher.

I told them that you all have the smooth movements and transitions from going Front to Back, and side to side down to an art! - Her response to watching a few videos? "Oh - My - GOD!!" Great job ladies!!!

i think its because Sua has to hit those high notes,and no one can hit those high notes while dancing like that there.Just my 2 cents tho
