I was thinking about all the pictures, but I don't think Amish people like to have their pictures taken. Hmm, I don't know. Is that how Adam always gets through windows like that? Dale, we missed your videos. I hope you will be doing more of them. Great video, guys! A lot of interesting stuff was left behind in these buildings. 👍
I love this. The church was great to see. The sad part is the beautiful photos, especially the little childs. Great video, Dale, nature will always win in the end
Yall. YALL! Yes i enjoyed the explore but the LAUGHS!! You have made my day. And i needed it. Thanks so very much. Hugs to both of you from Mississippi. Much love, sunni🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻💛💛💛💛💛💛
Brilliant video, what a place and so good to see it as it is without vandalism. The bed and the flower bed where nature has clearly moved in was such a cool shot 🫶🏼🏴
@escapade_z such a contrast especially with a bed that's not been watered regularly on the otherside to compare with. Not to mention how much the couch has decayed since you were last there! Even wee Kermit made an appearance 🐸 😂😂
Hope everyone enjoys the vid ! As always don’t forget to leave a thumbs up ! Also , does the video look clear to everyone ? On my tv it looks kinda glitchy , but my wifi is slow because I live in the middle of nowhere 😂😅
Oh at 06:45, the paper is in Danish and (I apologise for my terrible translation) says something along the lines of "Whoever you are, that thread inside this church, do not forget that this is the House of God. Quiet and stillness is appropriate in this [unique] place. If this is [in your ability], then pray a prayer for yourself and for those who preach and listen to the Words of God. May the Lord bless your entrance and exit from now and until Eternity. Amen." Thank you for another great video, you two are so much fun 😄
Hey Dale! Damn glad to see you back! It's really nice to see you and Adam exploring together! FYI regarding the "Amish" feel of the buildings/houses - I happened to notice a light switch on a wall upstairs @23:58...there were definitely no Amish living there. The Amish do not have any electricity nor do they allow their picture to be taken. We live 65 miles from Yoder, KS - it's an Amish Town/community. They still travel by horse drawn carriages and work theur fields with horsedrawn implements. Amish ancestry is Swiss, German and Dutch. In the United States, the Amish refer to Americans as the English. In the US, the languages spoken by the Amish are Swiss German, Pennsylvania Dutch and English. It's surreal how quickly houses and buildings decay when they're unoccupied! @30:34 that is a Antique Wheat Winnowing Fan/Grain Cleaner. 😉Great explore gentleman!!!❤ ~APRIL LIPKE
The Amish are interesting folks as it is. What I found fascinating is how many Amish men and women ages 18 and over became registered voters here in the US SPECIFICALLY for the Presidential Election held November 4, 2024. They made sure to be counted! As a rule, they don't tend to get involved in matters of the "English" aka Americans. ~APRIL LIPKE
That was awesome Dale! I’d never heard of the place to be honest. Amazing to think of a little village in the middle of the woods, people living off grid like that. Shame they left all their belongings, especially the photos and that album. Thanks, I enjoyed you and Adam exploring together - like old times. Take care 😊❤
Always freezing here but a bonus it wasnt raining for a change. Another good explore no b long before that ones lost to the land, glad we got to see it before its gone
About time 😅!!!! Must be rough to be so missed, huh? I hope you’re doing well. I Love Scotland 🏴! Thanks for an Awesome video! So nice to vicariously explore with you. Oh, the help 😂 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
Nice to see you again Dale plus Adam. I haven’t seen you in forever Dale, I remember seeing this “village” when Sam & Jess done the place a couple of years ago. At 30:34 that old wooden box is a thresher which strips the seeds from the stalks so they can then take the seed to make flour.😊😊😊😊 Adam I haven’t watched for a couple of years as I’m not into all that paranormal nonsense so I stopped watching him as I could see him making a noise and then claiming it’s a ghost etc. when there was no need for it. 😊😊😊😊😊
Yea I should of recorded it when I first explored it years back before most people had visited , that’s where I messed up with TH-cam , a lot of the abandoned houses you see I found years back but wasn’t recording then , now most TH-camrs have my finds on their channel with thousands of views and I get hardly any 😂😂😭
The print thing (?) you asked about roughly 18 minutes in means "God. Bless our home." It could be both Danish and archaic Norwegian (like late 1800's, early 1900's Norwegian). It was fun and interesting "tagging along" while you checked out that place.
Back years ago buildings were built better. My old home place had a tin roof. After 40ys I visited it's still standing perfect as I lived there everything still there. My dad built it concrete floors black stucco house.
I wish I h ad a little cottage way out in the country in London. Don't care if I have electric, water or anything just to get away from usa from what might be coming. I love London people.
@JAlbertz9478 Donald Trump wants power like Hitler. The people he is putting in office will bow to his needs to punish american people and hurt the economy pulling down other countries economies
tbh you shouldn't have waited fro him. It's a hard watch and off-putting when you're looking at stuff and your mate is looking and talking about something else in the background.
None of us were talking over each other though , we have our own videos to film remember too , it’s not as easy as people think , we both find different things interesting, sorry if it made it less enjoyable for you though 💛
@@escapade_z No i'm sorry, I didn't mean to be mean. It seems like you went to a lot of effort to get to this great place. It's something I've noticed about a few explorer videos, and I end up thinking it's a bit of a wasted opportunity when there's a lot going on and as a viewer it's hard to get into the vibe of the place. I guess it's a balance between documenting your own visit versus making something entirely for your viewers enjoyment. A tough balance to find!! Perhaps for a place like that, you could have gone to one building, and your mate could have gone to another, and then swapped over?? Good luck for your future adventures. 👍
@@thesunreportnot mean at all , I encourage comments loke this as it allows me to better myself and become better at filming , im always looking for ways to make my videos better but I always feel like once I arrive at a location it all goes to pot 😂 I have it all planned out in my head before we arrive but it never goes that way lol 😂
Yes! Dale is back! Awesome to see a new video from you, and a vid with Adam! 🙌🎉
I had to rewind the part where Adam did the superman jump through the window - made me laugh 🤭

This was a nice place at one time. Where's lisa
She was working sadly , she’ll be back in the next vid
Great explore. Definitely not Amish though. They don't take photographs of themselves.
Yea we know that , it just had that “vibe” about the place , was just religious danish folk
When was this an active village?
It was said in beginning it was abandoned 30 years ago 1994
Is it an old settlement of CHTrust
Why did they get moved on if they were allowed to be here ?
Your phone could have translated things if you'd have used the Google search on it
Ah how did I not think of this !!! It’s my go to move when I’m in Europe 😂😂😂
@escapade_z I didn't know you could do it until one of my kids told me. It'll most definitely help when you go to Europe
