What image does she give off? I think she clearly comes off sweet and shy. You can definitely observe her stiffness and unease. Honestly, that’s putting it lightly . Her hands often closed in like she’s squeezing, and constantly squirming, she’s avoids eye contact to long at a time especially when she’s talking. Playing with her hair often or pulling at something. She looks ready to dart out of tbere in a heartbeat!! She doesn’t want to be there doing that what so ever.
I don’t believe she’s there by her own choosing.
It’s ironic reslly. I mean, Brit has always hated press and giving interviews even when she was a bubbly teen outgoing and more outgoing and social. But you couldn’t tell it. And she rarely ever appeared shy or anxious at all. So I find that ironic because it’s something that changed into adulthood. She remained a pretty chill easy going girl throughout most of her 20s. It wasn’t until closer to 30 that she became this way. And just increasingly more so over the years since. Maybe she isn’t as comfortable anymore with it Becuase she’s not doing it nearly as much as she used too. She never was much of an interviewer. She was selective about appearances and who she would sit down with. Today, she’s notorious for her rare interviews - and notorious for being one of the most difficult celebrities to interview. She comes with a number of requests that she cannot be asked about, what she won’t discuss, how deep topics go, few questions about the personal life, stick to what she’s tbere to promote and don’t ask about the conservatorship or past troubles etc. with a team of security personnel and body guards. Daddy Spears never takes eyes off her. No, he can’t risk losing his control and the giant dollar sign that he sees in his daughter.
Anyway... it’s unfortunate that she’s changed so drastically and guarded up. But, with what I mentioned above stated, it’s no wonder she lost her “coolness”, 😎

I feel the complete opposite. She appears totally nervous and stiff. Notice how much she keeps playing with her hands, fingers, she fiddles around a lot.
No, she's stiff and extremely uncomfortable. Her smiles are forced and she looks dead behind the eyes. This is all an act.
Go to her interview wth leno from 2003. Total difference. Yes. She was younger, but it's a complete differebt person. I wasn't that different at 23 then I am now (31).. so age isn't it..
I think theirs much more about her and her life and meltdown that we don't know about. A sad tragic story is awaiting to come out. She's totally scarred and it's so apparent in this interview.

She used to be so bubbly and outgoing. Totally relaxed, fun, and full of life.
She can't even think straight or put her words together properly (Grand M speaks British, she didn't even catch it the 2nd time) because she's so anxious and uncomfortable. She clearly doesn't want to be there and can't wait for the exit door. She gives short, brief answers. She used to be so talkative that she'd speak more then the host or interviewee. Now she's just forcing words and is defiantly in a shell.
Anyone thinking this is normal Britney clearly doesn't know her. This is a woman scarred, hurt, betrayed, mistreated, etc...
She doesn't trust anyone (don't blame her) and her self-cautiousness is clearly apparent. The media has stabbed her in the back and really hurt her. You can tell she's over it and is done wth this sort of stuff. She's only here to fulfill her record labels demands/agenda. She HAS to do these promotional tours and that is the absolute only reason she's here. And it's clear in her face and behavior.
She's such a beautiful soul and gives off an angelic aura. Such a sweet, innocent, trusting, loveable, adorable, young girl was beaten down and broken and it's taking a few years but that broken young girl is sprouting into this chill, laid back, SMART, reserved WOMAN. She knows the game that IS Hollywood and she's brighter now and knows how's to protect herself. She's become extremely reclusive though and I hope she opens back up some more again. She holds this shield up & I just hope to see her take it off and open back up some more.
Although, she started warming up a lot towards the end.
But yes, this interview is not the best Brit interview by far. It's a rare interview though. She doesn't do these anymore so that's what makes this special but she's no where near herself. With time........... I suppose.

I’m randomly rewatching this with everyone going on with her. She seems like such a different person here. Really happy and comfortable. He did a great job making her feel relaxed there. Everything was just flowing. I always find it so obvious when a celeb is not liking an interviewer or feel awkward. JR was really kind and great to her

And also with everything going on around her right now (the Instagram weirdness conspiracies/ conservatorship issues), this is such a refreshing interview to watch!
Yes she said in 2016 she got her confidence back. After this she started performing amazing like before and then started talking more and the conservatorship weren’t happy. She spoke about the conservatorship here but they edited out. Two years later she refused to perform and then we found what really happened

This is one of the very few interviews that I’ve seen where she really is open. And she’s having a good time. This interviewer is actually really good and isn’t drilling her.

Me too!! It's all social. I fidget, clench and always so stiff and worried!! I can also see some anxiety coming from her as well. Amazing that someone so rich, beaitiful and famous deals with social anxiety ! I think the only difference is, she started very young and has been doing this (interviews, stage performances) for many years that she's able to continue doing it. If it wasn't for growing up on the stage, abd she remained her Louisiana-self then I bet she would be a full blown social anxiety sufferer. Watching interviews of her from 99 and stuff you can see the anxiety their as well.

I remember hearing "Hit me baby" for the first time. I have grown up with Britneys music and at 24 seeing what she went through, and despite all that she never gave up, she kept going even though it took her time to get back to the Britney we know and love, she did it. It puts life into perspective that no matter how much money in the world you have, you can still have people trying to tear you down, and pick out your faults nobody is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, your trust in people is different but Britney has always been humble. Seeing her this happy is amazing, she deserves it and she looks great❤

Rewatching this in 2020. This was indeed a whole new confidence from her never before seen since that disastrous Femme Fatale interviews. I bet when she's finally regained her freedom (hopefully in the next few years), BRITNEY WILL DOMINATE THE WORLD AGAIN, PREPARE FOR THE SECOND COMING!
2021 comes in 3 weeks, she has a decisive hearing in January, then another in February and on December 16 she has another hearing to decide on finances.

Kevin said that he had no problem with her seeing them whenever she wanted because his and her children love her and his current wife also, the problem was the restraining order that he imposed on Jamie (Britney's father). This hearing is about her conservatorship, fortunately things are going better than ever, the judge accepted that the Bessemer Trust company handle Britney's finances, now her father is CO-conservative, the judge said that her father has many points against and Britney's attorney estimates that she will be free in February 2021. She has secured a team of professional conservatorships and human rights attorneys who are working hard against Jamie.
@@martin683 Wow that is good news indeed. Hopefully she will regain back 50% custody to her kids once Jamie is out of the picture! Was that altercation the real cause of the Domination era fallout? I guess that's why everything was going great for her during this 2016 interview, she seemed at ease and confident, she gets to see and bond with her kids often where I guess she gets all her strength as a person. And then after that Domination cancellation, everything went weird again. Looking forward to Feb 2021 when all her hardships will finally be over!

Watching this having just read her book, wow, she really held it together well. She got around the partying questions so well, considering she was not allowed to party, at all! Talking about food, when she was being forced to eat a really restrictive diet. A strong woman who deserved a much better family... So many things in this interview that have a totally different light cast on them now. I wonder how she would answer most of the questions now...

I love this interview with Jonathan Ross! I'm an American that lived in Britain about five years. I always love seeing American entertainers well there because it's so different. The show should've gotten way more likes! @britneyspears 💋💋💋💋
