It.s DKM thank you! 😊 Absolutely! I actually first tested this on a tshirt and the results were similiar...just not as dramatic ☺️ I’d recommend using a shirt 2 sizes bigger though, since they usually have zero stretch. Hope that helps!
Thanks Alexis! It could work but it would be a little tricky. The easiest way I think to go about it would be to get a 1/2 yard of fabric and follow this method, then layer it over your skirt. Hope that helps!
Did you use tape in order to keep the shoulder up? I can see that shoulder falling down and exposing one of the "girls", lol. Did you have this occur? Love the way you finished it, very polished!
Jane Doe Hi Jane, no actually. In the video, I only wore it with a strapless bra lol. To be honest, given the size of the sweater I used, the neck is a bit too wide for me but nothing a strip across the back didn’t fix. Hope that helps. Thank you! 😊

Esther Jiahui Yes, definitely try moving to a tabletop! I’d start with that. You’ll get more even lighting. If you don’t have one big enough, try a folding table and drape something over it for a nice background. The plus side to that is, you can move it wherever you’d like and tuck it away once your done. 😊
Kate Long Hi, Kate. They are methods used to finish raw edges to prevent the fabric from fraying. Zig-zag is a type of stitch found on a basic sewing machine while serging (using what’s called an overcast stitch) is done using a special machine called the Serger. Hope that helps!
