Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I also appreciate the quality of the filming, editing, story telling composition Both the wrap and the production shows your dedication to high quality
You do not mess around, bro! When you do something, you go all in. Well done. Looks awesome. I'd be okay right up until I peeled the backing off. HAHA Truck looks sic.
The amount skill and patience to do that I could never. Shadow looks amazing and the production quality of you videos are even better. Keep killing it!
Great video. Getting ready to wrap a 1500 Rebel myself and found this useful. A little tip for the future, for that adhesive behind the RAM logo, they make these eraser wheels that make quick work of that stuff.
I’ve been on the fence with wrapping mine but now after watching you wrap 3 different times, I think I may just give it a shot. Excellent filming and editing as usual man. Watching you is always an enjoyable experience. Hope you are doing well.
Vvivid Indestructible wrap is the way to go. I wrapped my Xterra, it was not easy but even super tight roads with overgrown brush doesn’t compromise the vinyl. It is like bedliner.
You did an awesome job on the wrap Edward! I used the same brushed metallic vinyl wrap for the roof of my car and it was definitely harder to work with compared to regular gloss or matte vinyl.
The unforgiving chance of ripping the vinyl and inability to mend it reminds me of why I try to avoid working with wood. So a personally installed vinyl wrap is not in the cards for me. Actually wood has some options of gluing things back together, but it never is as strong or looks right IMO. Metal is my game, as it is way more forgiving and takes my persuasion, as well as can be glued (welded) back together after a mistake or some form of damage happens to it. Props to you Edward for taking on the challenge and learning the unique skills required to wrap a vehicle.
good point! I definitely have to be in the right mindset before taking on any vinyl wrapping projects. But you do great fab work on your metal components, and I admire that greatly!
@@KrokemOutdoors Thanks bro! I have thought about taking random shapes of black and gray scraps of vinyl to apply to my white fiberglass RTT for some contrast.
Edward I’m going to have to vote for the green as well, I’ve just never been a fan of black, white, silver or grey vehicles… But in all honesty I had no idea the green was a wrap, you do some amazing work.
Thank you Hugh, there were some noticeable flaws if you saw the green wrap up close and in person. But i do miss that color, but also appreciate the brushed black as well :)
Very therapeutic to watch. I use to wrap vehicles years ago where we never disassemble anything and still charged an arm and leg, but so much cleaner. Just curious I curious that price you stated is that retail or at wholesale? Excellent job and looks so good. Thanks for sharing
When you first wrapped the Rebel I remember you saying this product was more heavy duty and scratch resistant than the 3M product you used prior. Why are you going back to the 3M?? Looks great
3m has the brushed black metallic vinyl available (avery did as well, but not in stock). Plus, I wanted to see if the brushed look would hide the pinstripes better
Great job Edward. I’m a Cammo man so green to me was nicer. I’m in shock of your ending on this vid. I hope all involved car as well are ok and its not as bad as the image looks. Regards, Mario.🇦🇺
I still don't understand wrapping a truck. Just scratch the hell out of it, then get a paint job before selling if it's that important. Great video, by the way!
My brother Shin. Would you ever consider painting your truck with that Raptor paint? Sorta like bed liner but not as aggressive. I’ve seen trucks use that in OD green or sand color, thing looks sweet. And you never need to worry about scratches.
Using 3M over Avery wont help you with pinstripes cause they are scratches. Vinyl is Vinyl and Its not scratch resistant. Most folks will find it easier to buff some pinstripes out of paint rather than remove and rewrap vinyl. I love the look of the brushed metal finish although I couldn't stand how it held onto dirt. I wrapped my Honda element in it years ago and stripped it off only a few months later lol.
I figure the vinyl will get scratched, but my curiosity is if the brushed pattern would better camouflage the pinstripes. I didn't know they held dirt that bad. This is going to be interesting...
Make sure you get it sealed with ceramic or wax or whatever, and garage keep it. That wrap will rust and sun exposure will destroy it. Ask me how I know lol.
These videos make me 1000% certain to outsource anything to do with wrap.
Understandable!
right, 100%

I get pissed wrapping Xmas presents! Kudos brother for your patience and sharing the process from an honest perspective.
haha thanks Christopher. I'd agree that wrapping is definitely not for everyone. Cheers
Dang what a job! Looking great. I'm glad I found your channel. It's been a breath of fresh air.
Thanks David!
I’m 100% going to wrap my H3 now. Can’t wait to see next weeks video
awesome!

Great Job Edward, your patients is quite admirable. I would have lost my mind doing something so tedious. Awesome video.
You’ve mastered the art of the teaser clip for “Next Episode”. 😅
It's courageous Edward..
Showing some wrinkles on TH-cam...
Thank you for being real and the great channel.

The end broke my heart.
Ok you got me I will be here next week. Patience is not my thing. The attention to detail looks awesome.
See you then!👊
@@KrokemOutdoors Gotta support the local talent, I really appreciate you and other local guys repping the PNW, have a great day
That black metallic is sick! 👏👏👏
I agree! 🙌
I think appearance alone the black looks nicer. I did hear about how the brushed wraps rip because of the pattern. Kudos brother.
Brave man! That’s some undertaking. Hats off, dude 🤟😎
Crash looks nasty. Hope you’re ok
thanks Stephen. All is well :) 🙏
Great work as always, just convinced me that I will be paying someone else to wrap my Rebel.
haha sometimes, that is the best way :)
All in all a very pro looking job- if you wanted entertaining, just watch me if I ever try this! Keep up the great videos!!!
lol thanks Tim!
I love how the black makes the truck look so much more aggressive
Definitely agree. It's interesting how a small change like a color can alter the demeanor of a vehicle
You did an awesome job on the wrap Edward! I used the same brushed metallic vinyl wrap for the roof of my car and it was definitely harder to work with compared to regular gloss or matte vinyl.
Agreed! Also, I noticed the Brushed Metallic vinyl shows scratches more than the other vinyl
Another great video dude, still impressed you’ll even attempt this because I watch the guys are at my truck and it’s so damn hard to be honest.

Wrap looks amazing…you have WAY more patience than me. 😆 Sorry to hear about the…extreme pinstripes. 😬
You definitely make it look easy but time consuming!
Look nice👍 ! which one is easier to warp the Tundra oh the Ram? just wondering
I'd say the Tundra. It felt tough at first, since it was the first time i've ever wrapped a vehicle, but in hindsight, the Ram is tougher
The music makes me want to save the world!
The green was cool but black will always be more badass
well , that green is my favorite color, but there is definitely something awesome about that black👍
Not again!
Guess what...
💪Hard work!
We get out what we put in! 👊
Hey Edward! How did you remove your door handles?
So now that you’ve had two wraps, from two different brands, would you recommend it and if so, which wrap did you like more?
I’d personally say the Avery Dennison Rugged vinyl is my favorite compared to the current one
The new wrap looks good but I definitely think the green looked better. Can't wait to see what the heck happened to the truck I hope it survived.
I liked them both. The black looks nice in certain lighting as well. I hope to show that part of it in future videos.
I hope all is well my friend. That didn’t look good. PS new Tundy here we come!!!!
Thanks Scott. All is well. Not a new tundy yet, but something else.....

I haven't thought about raptor lining it yet, since it is a more permanent mod.
The suspense is killing me lol, you gotta release the video sooner

wrap looks great! that ending... nooooo! T__T
I couldn’t do it lol I would just lose patience then freak out!
there were plenty of times I felt that exact same way

I know it says ram on the truck but be careful. On edge for the next video!
Hahah 😆
There you are :)

@@KrokemOutdoors I tried rapping, but I am more a metal head ha ha ha ha
i would leave it as it with the original color paint. Looks way better than the wrap but thats just me

@@KrokemOutdoorsIt seems to hold dirt in the valleys of the brushed texture. I did mine with 3M but it was around 7 years ago. maybe its better now?

I've heard one other person talk about rusting. I didn't even know vinyl could do that
@@KrokemOutdoors vinyl can't. The metal flakes that make it a "metallic" look will, however.
lol - why would anyone want to hide pinstriping?
What is the new truck going to be…..Chevy Silverado?
Haha, the RAM isn't going anywhere!
😱😱😱😱😱😱 omg. what happened ?
