It is no worries but something ye should know, i'm not sure if anyone else brought it up but at about 1-hour mark where you're shooting the Heavy SP Beamer, the Beam rule triggers off BOTH shots, not just 1. So you would have gotten to make 2 Beam roll trigger on every unit since you hit with both shots initially! Same with all Beam weapons, if it has multiple shots, beam will trigger for every initial hit.
"If a hit roll scores additional hits, those additional hits do not benefit from any other rule that triggered on the original attack’s hit roll." It's already been faq'd, the additional hits from the beam weapons don't auto wound I think most of my problem with the way the Votann rules have been written is that they have tried to streamline so many things that they have removed a ton of points of failure. Remember when they were trying to speed up the game by reducing the amount of dice rolls, well this is the outcome. No wound rerolling against them innately, auto-wounding means cut out the wound roll, magna rails ignoring invulns means no save rolls most of the time, auto advance army wide, etc. It all adds up to them being incredibly efficient.
Brilliant battle report gents 🍻 They should definitely make the vertically movement up levels and moving over walls more for the dwarfs, difficult terrain is fine but a short person in bulky armour would be hilarious to watch trying to climb a wall, unless they have someone toss them but it's a very closely guarded secret.

Thank you guys so much for being the only channel so far, pitching the Votann against a reasonable army. This was actually intereesting and a well balanced game.
Something that was played slightly wrong in this: When the Hekaton unloaded its beam weapons, for every hit against the target unit, the units under the line also recieve a hit. So the two hits on the Intercessors would have also been two hits on the assault intercessors, dreadnought, and agressor. Same with the ion beamers, every hit against the assault intercessors should have been a hit against the agressor. They played it as only one hit on the non-target unit if one or more hits were rolled against the target unit.
If you run greater Thurian leagues and run their named Kahl. You can change 1 die roll to a 6 and it counts as an unmodified 6. That’s per turn or round. That hasn’t been faq because it’s separate from the auto wound counting as 6. So It basically means once per shooting faze something is taking 7 wound minimal and it’s spilling over.
Deathguard aré quite slow, but in combat the shred if they dont get counterpunched by beeserkers, their range game Is null, not even worth it. Tau have a really good shot, they can beat the list with full mobility crisis and good shield drone support, kroot hounds AND kroot karnivores stall the slow moving infantry while chipping at them. Their bikes tho, they can kill a unit of crisis if caught in the open, even if they are garanteed to die in the counterfire.
