As a YoZuri user… and fanboy , I can say this bait works for bass just as well as it would for other “inshore” fish species . I tend to try different things , so I gave this a shot… holographic ghost ayu color ( wish I could get pretty much every color, but my wallet won’t allow for that), as well as the silver blue shad color… both have caught Smallies, Largies & Alabama bass with no issue. Except the occasional hang up. That’s usually user error though! See wood fish the wood… lol
Man I was so pissed at myself and this bait for probably 2 months or more bc I spent the $$ on this bait in 9 colors and got 2 in some of the "better colors" I thought. They come In and I get out on home pond of guntersville with two of em tied on out on the deck. I already knew where I was gonna go bc of weather, time of year, etc and I could catch prob on other proven baits. I pick this bait and cast it out. Retrieve cast repeat. Two things: I had high hopes for this one AND I didn't know the bait so so I didn't take the time to then to learn it. Plus they were schooling and chomping. Didn't fish any of em again for a month. Next time, went to Smith Lake and only took these and few other things. Oddly enough guy I've fished with for years has two on the deck. Short of it is he says yeah it's been my go to since they came out for inshore and never really use em around anybody. Needless to say I learned how to use them and how effective and efficient they can be that I keep one tied on in the rod locker at least and the Plano edges loaded year round. Have retired 3 so far
@@YoZuriyeah no doubt! I knew that going in and why I didn't take the time 1st thing while on Guntersville that day I don't know. I use em for bass fishing-smallmouth, largemouth, and spotted bass. Since then I've retired I don't know how many bc of fire days with it, bought almost every color, some several times over, and cashed a bunch of checks with em. Getting dialed in took a few months with which rod, line, and reel I preferred in what scenario. Now I've got em in both boats, tied year round and fish em every time I go!

If your not an inshore saltwater angler then it takes some practice to learn all the different ways to fish it effectively for sure.
