Slide looks useless, too slow and doesn't flow that well for heated situations, needs more speed and fluidity to be useful in fights something like how codm does it. I've been waiting for Slide feature since game released but this ain't it. What's going to save this game is fluid movement, they are going for an apex feel anyways. So why not take from apex what makes it so good, MOVEMENT. From the looks of it this just seems very far from what they could have done with sliding and all. No jetpack? Cool, then at least give us movement mechanics that rival games like apex and cod. This game can be great if they do things right.
