Making me jealous with the j rap bite. Had one of the best weeks of my life on a hot jigging rap bite on lake of the woods last September. It’s an addicting bite for sure
i packed my tent and loaded up the boat last weekend and spent two days on lake nippissing, catch and cook walleye bites was on the menu. Great video, nice to see the cabin coming along.
The Catch and Cook is so good. I have purchased it a couple times now and whenever I make fish for people they always have nothing but good things to say! Thanks for making a wicked product!
Can not get enough of your Videos. Keep them coming bud. Everyone is a great watch and your a great ambassador for the outdoors and how to enjoy and respect it. Much love.
Josh McFadden is my cooking inspiration as well. The stuff that guy whips up in the wild is unreal! Great seeing you grow Jay, I know Catch and Cook will be a big thing once you get it marketed well. Looking forward to more, as always.
Just bought crunchy and spicey at my local scheels. Great flavor. Only suggestion would be a resealable bag especially if cooking remotely. Good job guys.
In 1999 I was driving from Ottawa to Banff and on my second day on the road we stopped in Kenora for lunch. I thought to myself this is a place I want to retire. It’s absolutely beautiful there. Planning on making my way back soon and hopefully I can get some fishing in. Thanks for the videos Jay
Firstly, I'm proud to support a fellow Canadian. I'm at the bottom end of the province. We will have to hang out one day and catch some fish and lemme cook for ya. Secondly, I drove to the Toronto Sportsman show today and found out I can buy Catch and cook there......I can't wait for dinner this week! :D
Prefect timing. Just ran out of C&C. Love watching the lodge progress. Need to hurry up and finish in time for ice season. I've been threatening to fish the woods for quite a while. I would book a trip with you for sure.
A Jay day is a good day. How about a detailed guide to cleaning a walleye? I cleaned some up on a trip a few weeks back and absolutely butchers the meat. : (
Personally I make my own batter AP flour, rice flour, baking powder bit of salt. The nice thing about a premix like Catch and Cook compared to most homemade batters is the consistency, you follow the instructions or slightly tweak them to your preference you should get the same result every time. Considering that the walleye wasn't pre dredged the batter held on pretty solid.
Hey Jay, do you ever give out your LiveScope settings? We’ve got one but the clarity is just awful. Can’t hardly tell a rock from a fish. Any advice would be appreciated.
Jay is always positive. Thinking I'm picking up on some new parent sleep deprivation. I won't tell you that my twins took 4 years to finally sleep through the night. You'll get through it!
@@codychickadee5095 actually worked out great. My boys are best friends, into the same things (mainly longboarding). The first few were tough, but it’s paying dividends now.
I really wish the bundle with the knife was still available, but that's ok :-) I'm surprised Frank('s RedHot) didn't make an appearance! Couple drops of that in the beer batter is fantastic.
When can i buy this in Ohio? We have walleye in the freezer and been dying to try some Catch and Cook. Love the video and wish you the best being a dad.
I'm just wondering how you were able to make beer battered fish without first trying the beer to make sure it was "good enough" for the batter haha maybe thats just me
I've used Original Catch and Cook as beer better and it worked great. Does the actual Beer Batter version have something in it that makes it work even better?
It was awesome being apart of this. Thanks again Jay!
The Catch and Cook stuff is soooo good a whole generation of young fishheads are gonna kick the bucket early from deep fry heart attacks.😃
When the oil got on jay it reminded me of Alex Peric when he tried to toss the oil out😂
Amazing! We would LOVE a gluten free Catch and Cook too!
Proud papa! Gosh darn we miss you.
I got my family hooked on Catch & Cook (pun intended). They love the crunchy crust.
Just so everyone knows the catch and cook batter makes anything fried taste phenomenal, from walleye to mallard duck puts fish crisp in the dirt

Drying your fillets before beer batter application is a must for better results Jay. Full length clothing also for the chef….

I just ate supper and watched this video, now I'm hungry again lol. Might have to do up some more C&C walleye again this week, it's sooooo good!
Their crunchy catch and cook is the best batter ive used. honestly

Jay - please make a Gluten-free mix 😊 so hard to find.

That’s the Kenora vibe right there.

Man I havent done a shore lunch in so long. Looks like I am going to have to go out and make some fish tacos. cant wait to see the cabin completed.
Followed the link to your site and got the Cooker Bundle. Knife looks killer and I can’t wait to try the beer batter.
To help keep the coating on it helps to dust it with a little dry mix first, but that obviously takes away from the simple one bag, one pan idea.
Definitely run it through some flour first then into the beer batter. Works 100 times better.
I was glad to meet you Jay!
I’m just amazed at how freakin’ stable your boat is!
Looks like a fun time and so delicious!!
Crispy walleye is as good as it gets!
Connor has great taste in beer
Big whole cremini mushrooms taste fantastic with this batter.
Like number 1000! Just had to come watch this again!

Your settings look great on the livescope but try adjusting the focus to get the beams to line up to show a flat bottom.

Just tried the beer batter catch and cook for the first time. It was amazing!
All the catch and cook products are amazing! But the beer batter is the best I’ve tried out of any beers batter!
😂
I've used the white Monster energy drink in place of beer. It's not bad .
Man how to you power the go pro on your head???? Thanks for your time love watching your channel

@@rfraser8752 awesome man. thanks for some insight, I'm worried my wife and I will have twins. Lol it's mainly just the sleep loss that scares me

Where do you get your sunglasses?
6:43 was that a Rut Daniels reference by chance Jay?
is that the 32 or 34 livescope?
Where in Alberta can a guy buy some catch and cook?
I wanna come fishing
Anyone have any oil suggestions, canola oil is supposedly healthier, does it affect flavor compared to soybean oil?
Sunflower oil is very light tasting and works great.
