      heyyy! awww, didn't record the rendering setup for this one. Good news is, I recordred the Redshift rendering setup for the recent episodes, and the same concepts apply. Hope you can follow along this way and all the best!

    Great tut! Would be great to see the Redshift brakedown!

      Hey Matic, I see that there's some interest the rendering setup in Redshift. It's great feedback! I'll cover a little bit of it, but I'm afraid of a long runtime. If there's more expressed interest from others, I'll cover in greater detail. Thanks!

    I would actually appreciate Redshift tutorial! It's really rare to find a Houdini x Redshift tutorial

    Man how am I just now finding your channel? Excellent tutorial. Would love to see the setup in Redshift if you haven't down so already.

      Happy holidays Chris! I cover the Redshift rendering setup in EP 3 or 4 onwards. It won't be the same geometry, but the same principles apply. Enjoy! Also, your comment it helps these tutorials reach more people in need, so thank you!

    hi so somehow my pscale already gets defined and when i put in the point wrangle node it shows the red error signal

    • @RonaldFong
      @RonaldFong  ปีที่แล้ว

      What does the error message say? :) It's quite easy to mistype the syntax, the semicolons, spaces and what not. perhaps it's worth a check!

    Hello ,I don't have copy node in my Houdini Software,Can you tell me why is that?

    • @RonaldFong
      @RonaldFong  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! I'm not sure. I didn't use a Copy node in this setup though! If you have fundamental nodes missing, like the Copy node, it's probably something wrong with your installation, or you've adjusted your houdini.env file such that it cannot load the default HDAs or nodes

    Thank you so much for the tutorial!
    I'm trying to export it as an alembic file to maya, but it gives me several error like
    Renaming node to /SETUP/attribdelete1_1 to resolve collision.
    Then I put the attribute delete sop then it gives me
    Error creating archive: ios_base::failbit set: iostream stream error
    Anyone knows how to solve it?

    • @RonaldFong
      @RonaldFong  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure. Perhaps a clean node at the end, right before your rop_alemhic node to remove all extra attributes and groups will help. Remember to retain the @Cd. All the best!
