Many people say Vizag is growing faster than Vijayawada. Fastest growing city is different from already developed city. Generally already developed cities grow slower than the newly growing cities. Vizag is more developed than Vijayawada in industrial development. But Vijayawada is one of top 10 fastest growing cities in the world It is developing faster than vizag, but GDP of Vijayawada is much smaller the GDP of Vizag. However, GDP is not the only criteria to define development. Other cities which have lower GDP than Vizag provide more job opportunities. Vizag's GDP is more mainly because of large scale government industries like steel plant, shipyard...etc.

Fastest growing is different from already developed cities. Already developed cities grow relatively slower than newly developing cities. But the GDPs of already developed cities which are developing slower are much larger than the most of the cities that are growing faster. That's why many big cities in India are not there in this list in this video.
