The Sweet Valley world was created by author Francine Pascal (May 13, 1932 - July 28, 2024). The series began in 1983 and concluded twenty years later after the publication of 181 books.

I read these when I was in grade and middle school. I actually have a few I’ve found in thrift shops. And of course I’m totally going to be participating. I have caught in the middle sweet valley high #42 and sweet valley high the morning after #96
