- Building a survival shelter on a riverbank !In this environment I use materials found on site and a few boards recovered from an abandoned shelter. Inside this shelter I've just made a bed to sleep on. Obviously I've got a lot of work to do next! In this video I use clay as my main material. This shelter is ideal for building on banks or uneven ground! I built this shelter in 7 days all by myself! Thank you all for your comments and messages! Thanks for the videos. I have decomposed granite with clay, works nicely as concrete with some straw/grass/weeds/hay. I'm going to try to use your methods to build a wood fired sauna. My husband and I used our dirt in building a greenhouse and the chicken coop floor. Stuff is hardpan once it dries.

Cooking would be a challenge if i's raining - with an outdoor oven. I've seen these things built - where the "stove" is on the inside - and the chimney is actually dug down from the surface - just a foot or wo away from the inside wall of the shelter. Self-contained. And the wood store is sheltered from the rain, also. Love the outside esthetics of this one - but too bad there's no view of the inside.
Inside I only have a bed with straw. I'm planning to make a fireplace inside soon! you should see the rest of the video..thank you very much for your comment!

You build always such nice shelters,but why do you build them so low, you must get on your knees to get in? I think this part of your woodland kingdom is not far from civilization. When you make no noises we can hear the noise of a road or motorway.....👍😊🇫🇷
