The Body scanner is your save point! Move the reactor to the rear of the train, and put a storage box near it, radiation hurts you! Shooting down drones gives a lot of tech and materials. Use the none ammo weapon first, You can have 3 floors to your train, get solar panels as soon as you can. Check broken trains and caves, some are far from the train, over the ice!
As a science teacher, you do have the definition correct for fusion, fission is when the atoms split. That is why fission is so extremely dangerous and radioactive
Kage, the first larger station that you come to, you will need the heater by the time you leave as the journey to the next station is a long way and you will have to go through a few storms, and you won't survive.
Fusion is combining two atoms to make a new one, fission is using an atom to split another atom to make new ones. The fatman and little boy atomic bombs were an example of fission and yes the sun fuses atoms together
There was mentioned in game that engine and reactor provide some heat when working so just move engine into the cabin if you intend to trvel during storm - reactor woudve kill you
some times just need to practice patience.. never a need for anything. needing makes mistakes but here are a few tips- if it hurts in real life you have to assume it will hurt in game. dont rush unless you are in a hurry to finish. game isnt bad it does force you to take your time or you will miss on a lot.
Fission occurs when a neutron slams into a larger atom, forcing it to excite and split into two smaller atoms-also known as fission products. Additional neutrons are also released that can initiate a chain reaction. When each atom splits, a tremendous amount of energy is released. Uranium and plutonium are most commonly used for fission reactions in nuclear power reactors because they are easy to initiate and control. The energy released by fission in these reactors heats water into steam. The steam is used to spin a turbine to produce carbon-free electricity. Fusion occurs when two atoms slam together to form a heavier atom, like when two hydrogen atoms fuse to form one helium atom. This is the same process that powers the sun and creates huge amounts of energy-several times greater than fission. It also doesn’t produce highly radioactive fission products. Fusion reactions are being studied by scientists, but are difficult to sustain for long periods of time because of the tremendous amount of pressure and temperature needed to join the nuclei together. You were close in your thinking, enjoying the play thru. Have a great day and a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.
Fission splits a heavy element (power plants). Fusion fuses two light elements into a heavy (sun's process). Fusion is still so far away for us to use. Fusion is safer then fission.
The Sun is an Engine which does both, it fissions material producing photons, neutrons, and electrons along with other things like neutrino's then it performs fusion so it's a cyclic event.
"I wonder if I need the heater." *heater clearly states it's use during storms* "I'm going to go out in the storm to see if I need a heater." *freezes, just as the heater desc said it was for* Looks like non-script placed items like batteries in chargers and blown drones will despawn if you get far enough so you lost both the first drone when going to the second station and the second drone when you went back to check. As far as storing radioactive items, could just put a box by the fission core and work with/around when the train is off.
You could put a box storage near the reactor and any hazardous materials you pick up from drones you can put in there and then you won’t have anything disappear if you log out
So why the fuck would the devs care about someone being patient and waiting til they got enough tech to "pimp" their train? You don't play that way, but some people might. I don't like it when devs do that. It feels like they're forcing you to play a certain way. It really puts a bad taste in my mouth for this game. I think that was a poor choice.
@cece8096 imho devs usually do shit like this to slow the player down because the content is meager. They don't want players finishing the game in a couple of hours and go, " that was quick." That's what concerns me with this game. It has a slick look, but there's no real substance. Everything looks exactly the same. There's no real sense of discovery or exploration. Plus they make it really difficult to explore the world with storms and drones and really bad stamina mechanics.
I agree kage you shouldent be penalized for moving stuff like storage boxes but imo stuff like walls controls and the like like that i think you should where it is a survival game in life you cant just move stuff like that without some supplies being lost in the process and with survival games stuff like that you should really be putting full thought into placemt beforehand
@kage848 there isnt enough blueprints be careful what u unlock.... i cant make seeds cause of this so i will eventually run out of food... dont get dynamo... waste of blueprints
Watching you play is entertaining and frustrating at the same time
LOL 👍

So are atomic bombs fission powered?
The crashed friendly drones do give you stuff.
It seems only if you get to them shortly after they implode.
1 solarpanel 4 batterys is all u need... fission reactor is for emergencys as fuel is super hard to get

Fusion vs Fission: all correct! 😀
bro, @Kage848 made me google it
Reactor should be at the back of the train... away from everything...
Swop your reactor and engine.
There was mentioned in game that engine and reactor provide some heat when working so just move engine into the cabin if you intend to trvel during storm - reactor woudve kill you

Move your engine into small living space to have a heat source to help fight a storm
There's more drones 😂 they are up around the curve in the track near the old train wreckage. 😊
Something tells me that you might need that heater in the future.

Nice episode
just drop a storage box on the back car by your motor = the key to not getting irradiated is distance. keep that junk as FAR from you as possible
You will find a few of the helper drones that are just dead and you can loot them
There is a cave on one of the frozen lakes all the way to the far left. I believe it's around the second area. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Pls build the radioactive materials, its own chest and store it where you got it now
well kages playthrough is fk'd he wont have enough blueprints now
i left a battery at station 2 went to end of playable content and back it was still there. if ur battery isnt there u never left it behind
also drones dont explode on easy... so unlimited materials
u should make a heater soon
put fission reactor ad very back of train.. radiation reachs 2/3 of the train car
kage u did do that bro ur first playthrough u built ur train b4 leaving second station lol we all do it if its a option lol

That and the extreme nerfing of the loot 😢 I mean 1 item per room? And almost no plants to make energy drinks now 😮 What's the point?

power give off radio poison
u get 50% materials back
Infected plz😔
Seventh🎉

Kage! We want ‘infected’ evryday 🥲
YES!!
Other games aren't bad but a daily of Infected is a must lol
