When I first came to Christ many years ago, I was tormented by the thought of having committed this sin. I agonized and suffered mentally and emotionally over this issue for months on end. But, God brought me through - set me free. A good , mature, well-read student of scripture and friend helped me through this dark period of intense misery and misunderstanding. She was a very loving, caring, patient and Compassionate woman. I shed many a heart-rending tears upon her shoulders as she embraced me with her loving arms of comfort as she ministered to me the truth of God's love for me and biblical facts not yet grasped or understood by my young fearful mind-set. But, thanks be to God who always gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. The Light finally shined in the darkness and I....a captive - was completely liberated from my prison of bondage. I knew the absolute truth: And it (He) had set me free. Praise The Lord.
If you think you have committed the "unforgivable sin" then you have not. There are no limits to the mercy of God, but anyone who deliberately refuses to accept his mercy by repenting, rejects the forgiveness of his sins and the salvation offered by the Holy Spirit. Such hardness of heart can lead to final impenitence and eternal loss.
I lived my life in sadness thinking I committed this sin, I told myself that I'd still serve God even though I knew I was damned, thank you for this, I feel at peace now.
Am so grateful you and to God for giving you this wisdom and you sharing it with us. GOD BLESS YOU IMMENSELY. AM SO HAPPY TO UNDERSTAND THIS NOW...I HAVE STRUGGLED WITH IT ALOT AS A CHRISTIAN ❤
Thankyou for this i had a unwanted thought that poped in my head one night about the holy spirit but i confessed it and repented of it anyways im glad i didnt commit the unforgiveable sin yay
The reason it's not forgiven is because the spirit convicts us of sin and points to Jesus as the savior. Jesus was doing miracles by the power of the spirit as a testimony to him being the messiah. As long as you reject the conviction and testimony of the spirit there's no hope. It's not a one time event by a deliberate lifelong rejection of the spirit of God.
So you mentioned thoughts. Many people struggle with blasphemous thoughts and believe they committed this sin because of their thoughts but then repent.
Why where they so opposed to the Kingdom coming or even people entering the Kingdom of God (because other verses talk about that)? I'm thankful there was some that turned like Nicodemous.
Pride. Power They would lose their Authority their status of being wise and Noble. I think. Or they are actually sons of Satan working iniquities. Almost like the prosperity gospel.
One need not fear commiting the unforgivable sin unless one were to see Him perform a miracle and claim blasphemously that His power to do it came from Satan, not God. But I genuinely would like to know the difference between the Clean Spirit and the Holy Spirit, and if it is the Clean Spirit of the Greek Bible that became the Holy Spirit of the Latin and/or.English Bible, what happened to Unclean Spirit?
Unforgivable simply means the consequences never change, but you can choose to stop blaspheming the spirit if you knew what it was by understanding 2 John 1:7 as intended. Denying the image of God as coming to the flesh is walking in darkness and blasphemy of the spirit, no matter if you said words to say you have fellowship with Him. 1 john 1:6 Choosing to walk in the light, as the Word is in the light, results in fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus cleansing us from all sin. 1 john 1:7 The Word (to abide in, study on the flesh) is in the light, not scripture. You should have learned about book learning long ago. The Word teaches in the light, then obedience manifests from taught flesh.
But who would be insane enough to do that? I don't think they knew he was the messiah but they thought he was Satan himself. They were just confused about who he was cause he didn't fit with the messiah they imagined in their heads.
@crossroads8370 is satan not a deceiver? Which imitates him as best as possible if you cant test the spirits without thinking your going to hell you cant truly test them if he sends me to hell for being confused so be it all I can do is ask forgiveness.
Maybe two lists would help, since this topic keeps raising from various angles.. I conclude it's going from being in faith then later back to unbelief.. which is not unlike backsliding or falling back into works from grace.. still feels as tho we are all trying to fix this ourselves.. 🙏
Unfaked good fruit = practicing truth how? John 3:21. Good fruit is manifested from the heart by abiding in the Refiners Fire where faith is caused by God's works, Authored and Finished there as you continue to strive for the upward call of God in Christ Jesus, who is the image of God. Faked good fruit is lies and deception manifested from the heart because you walk in darkness. 1 john 1:6. 2 John 1:7
I think you twisted this up. The book of mark gives you the answer chapter 3 verse 30 now also go to 1Corinthians chapter 13 verse 3 kjv. I don't know what bible you are using either.
The unforgivable sin is rejecting Jesus Christ as savior because your rejecting the holy Spirit that moves on you to get saved your not forgiven in this life or after life if you never believe.
The only unforgivable sin in this age of the Grace of God and not the past age of Jesus’ earthly ministry to Israel , before the cross , is to die without believing in Paul’s Gospel , 1 Corinthians 15 :1-4 , KJV , and for those who don’t read the 13 letters of Paul to believers the last 2,000 years , that would be : that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and that He was buried and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures , and if you confess with your mouth , the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead , you shall be saved ! Plus nothing ! John
So what you are saying is that a person who is wicked in heart and speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. In fact, that is what Jesus is saying in the Bible. Out of the abundance of heart the mouth speaketh. No man speaks against the Holy Spirit out of fun. He who hates God, will speak against His Holy Spirit. So there is nothing new you have proved but it is your misunderstanding that people speak against the Holy Spirit casually ans they will be forgiven. No. That does not happen. Secondly, if Jesus said it is unforgivable, then it's unforgivable. Period. Any man thinking it otherwise can do it at their own risk.

I had that same determination to never give up on God even if I commited this sin

AM SO HAPPY TO UNDERSTAND THIS NOW...I HAVE STRUGGLED WITH IT ALOT AS A CHRISTIAN ❤

Beautifully said Jason. Thank you.
Your words help people, God bless you
Thank you for your insightful apologetics! You remind me of Elihu. Praise God our Father in the name of Jesus!!! 😃
Shalom from Mississippi gulf coast 😇🥳 MARANATHA 🥳
Is blasphemy against the holy Spirit a thought you have or is it not a thought you have?
Thank you, for that biblical explanation.

Excellent explanation. Thank you.
Thank you so much. I finally understand❤
Thank you ✝️
So you mentioned thoughts. Many people struggle with blasphemous thoughts and believe they committed this sin because of their thoughts but then repent.
Love it
Like in Numbers 16. It is questioning the power and work of the Holy Spirit.
Thank you! What is the source for the background music?
So it's when someone crucified christ unto them selves. For when this happens they can not find anymore forgiveness
What bible are you using? I beleive the King James version is the probably the best bible for truth(s).
One need not fear commiting the unforgivable sin unless one were to see Him perform a miracle and claim blasphemously that His power to do it came from Satan, not God. The Word (to abide in, study on the flesh) is in the light, not scripture. You should have learned about book learning long ago. The Word teaches in the light, then obedience manifests from taught flesh.
Basically you have to 100% know it is the true messiah and still speaking against him
But who would be insane enough to do that? I don't think they knew he was the messiah but they thought he was Satan himself. They were just confused about who he was cause he didn't fit with the messiah they imagined in their heads.

@@crossroads8370nicodememus even told Jesus they knew look it up in the Bible

Well God said he is married to the backslidden? And by going from belief to unbelief do you mean denying Christ?
I know people who can fool antone with faked good fruit.
1 john 1:6. 2 John 1:7
So your saying there is technically some forgiveness for this?
I think you twisted this up.
The book of mark gives you the answer chapter 3 verse 30 now also go to 1Corinthians chapter 13 verse 3 kjv.
I don't know what bible you are using either.
That's 2 fold they bond christ so in their mind my blunder this house .this planet. The people there in
Through out my life i have said and reacted thar has not been good time to time 😞
Repent and believe the gosple and the Lord Jesus will be faithfull to forgive you!

Every politician around the globe doggypiggy..level pemikiran mereka serupa binatang dalam kandang..haha..
simple, it is not listening to the holy spirit.
