This is one of the best crafting videos I've ever watched, I love all the helpful hints, tips and creative ideas. It was enjoyable to watch because you are bubbly and cheerful, thank you for sharing, happy holidays and God bless. 😊❤
I love turning something practical and "boring" into something decorative and beautiful. And that's what you did here! Never thought about the air fresheners before. I have the once you stick on the wall and give a press to release the pleasant smell. I will give them a decoupage makeover! Thanks for this great tutorial 🤗🌻🦋🕊️
I have just found your TH-cam channel and keep running your videos. The variety of possibilities for this craft is endless and your work is absolutely stunning! Thank you!
All of your work is stunning! You are an excellent teacher ! I'm going to try this idea on some battery operated plastic candles! They need some beautiful touches ! Wish me luck! Merci!
@@JoanMarieDomino Hi Joan-Marie! The first coat of chalk looks cool. We will see how it goes! In the meantime, I have two aluminum cans and 3 glass jars I am ready to decoupage tomorrow. Can I send you a picture of the finished project? Au revoir from Kitty.
Hi Shawna! AND you can take off the air freshener cover and put it on a new one! Plus I learned that there are several different ways to open an air freshener. Some open at the top so there’s no need to left the cover! Learn something new everyday! Great ideas, I think they would make a great gift too! Thank you for watching! - Joan 🙂
TYFS - I also use these types of air fresheners & when I first open them, there’s also a ring at the top that I pull up while leaving the bottom ring closed. I love this idea but, for me, I would do it a little different so that I could still use the opening at the top. So I’d maybe use some of the smaller pieces to fill the spots at the top, similar to what you did filling in the blank spots in the larger area. I love how this elevates the look & you certainly can find something to compliment any decor! Thanks again, I can’t wait to give it a try 🤗! Please stay safe 😷
Hi Anne! I did not know the top part opened too! I will have to check that out! You can definitely collage with smaller pieces which is easier then trying to wrap. Thanks for the idea and for watching! - Joan 🙂
Hi Anne! Thank you so much! I love allot of the fragrances but I didn’t like putting them around my home especially with the label. Seems like a good alternative especially since the cover is removable. Thank you for watching! Joan 🙂
Wow those turned out amazing. I’m gonna try to do decoupage napkins on Christmas ornaments today. I hope it turns out. I’m gonna use all of your tips. Thank you so much. I’m going to subscribe as well.
I want to paint and decoupage a plastic hand mirror. Would you suggest the chalk paint method or sanding and priming? I'm worried that the chalk paint won't be durable over time.
Please hit the ❤️🥰 button above for an animated ‘SUPER THANKS’ and show my channel some love! 💙💃🏻😘💕- Joan

Can fabric be put on a vase on the outside of the vase
Yes but I have never tried it myself, I saw some posted on Facebook done by others - Joan
Can I use plain emulsion paint instead of chalk paint ( uk)
You can try. If it doesn’t work you can wash it off. I only use chalk paint on smooth surfaces - Joan
Hi, is chalk paint the only paint that will adhere to plastic?
Hi! I find that chalk paint works the best. But you can try with whatever paint you have in hand.
I want to paint and decoupage a plastic hand mirror. Would you suggest the chalk paint method or sanding and priming? I'm worried that the chalk paint won't be durable over time.
I’d say to sand and prime.
