I was trying to turn the illusion spell call To arms to a bright gold, but as of now it seems quite difficult, the mesh has no place for me to change textures, or colours for that matter, and the spell mesh is white by default in the preview, I wonder if there’s a trick to spells like that.
how do you change the size of a spell like for example make lightning storm ray be bigger? Do you know how to do this? I am tired of trying to figure it out
i have a mod called sword dance. its like the blink power of ciri from witcher, my only problem is the color of the magical effect, its purplish-maroon instead of green.
If you're still checking the comments here: Im using a mod called Blue Fire Magic that provides standalone fire spells that are obviously blue. Now thats great and all, but when enemies take burn damage that animation is still orange, also the animations from Ordinator (Perk Mod) are orange as well. Would it be possible to change those to blue? Im not exactly sure what to look for there...
It's been awhile since I've been in the kit, but what you want to look for is the magic effect that applies the fire over time and change that texture. If you're really stumped, just go into the spell and keep removing parts one by one and resetting until it removes the burning animation. From that point you'll know which one to change
@@journeyneedham6155 hey quick question is it possible for mods like this to be ported to ps4 I've seen blue fire in some of the mods I've downloaded but i can't find any spell re color mods it's all just lmae click bait type spells that show images of blue magic and or fire yet they're basically just vanilla spells with zero changes if it's possible could you port it over look I know things like this are time consuming but if you can do it if I can't get someone else to I'll be willing to donate at least 45 dollars to your patron or something?
@@journeyneedham6155yes! I'll literally pay you to finally give ps4 users true blue fire and or red lightning or both I'm dead serious if it's possible I'll actually pay you to do it because we deserve good re color options instead of just lame armor reskins
I don't get the compression type window for the dds files when i click export as, am i missing a plugin for gimp? Also one more question: did you at any point change the source texture file in any BSShaders things in nifskope or just the greyscale ones? I'm working on a fully green fireball spell and part of the explosion and projectile are green, but some other parts are not and I'm kinda running out of possible things to change.
Sorry for the late response, I've been away from my home computer. Yeah, I forgot that I installed a plugin; heres a link: code.google.com/archive/p/gimp-dds/downloads you may need an older version of gimp depending on what you have. As for the other question, I don't believe so. The best way to deduct where you need to go is to just keep removing parts of the spell effect / animations one by one and testing if the color is still orange. From that point you'll at least have your options narrowed down.
Speaking about conjuration spell (any reanimation spell) Thanks to the video changed a lot of stuff but one... The blue mist around spell, can't figure out how to change its color MagicLightReanimate in creation kit seems to be somehow connected with this, but changing stuff in there does nothing ingame %(
The object will still be spawning an instance of the fire effect left on the floor in a flames spell. You'll just need to locate what effect it's using, and adjust that effect just like a spell's
In case you’re wondering, I did it! I got confused by the NiNodes because the particular mesh I was working on didn’t have any. It had several layers of the same texture, so I kept getting orange/red. Thanks again for making this tutorial! I finally have everything I need to complete my mod!
