Great tips 👍….A lot of people say Vietnamese food is healthy and that Vietnam is the least obese country in the world, but there is still a concern for cleanliness, seed oils, msg, microplastics, heavy metal poisoning, processed food that you should try to avoid…..I saw a TH-cam video once of how a restaurant lady was making noodles by scraping the noodles off using pcp pipes 😅
It's safe in Vietnam knowing majority of their food is purely organic. I follow other channels. They go around the farms and I see them put only organic fertilizer because they can't afford chemicals. Unlike here in America. Sigh'
Thank you for the suggestions. The next time I go to HCM City, make sure I stick to McDonald's, KFC and other American chain to stay safe. No more street foods and local restaurants. Appreciate your recommendations.
sadly you can still get sick from those places too, But no worries just buy some Smecta from the pharmacy, thank me later. The street food is so tasty, try it, eat local and support local vendors.
@tommywu9867 Do you really think they bring water and food supplies directly from America ? You can run, but you CAN'T HIDE. Make sure you bring plenty of Pepto Bismo with you.
Organic, there are very few, you really have to look for them. Guess there’s not much of a market for them. But higher end restaurants, yes many here especially in district 1
@@KP-xi4bj If you had a terrible experience before, okay 👍 As for me and others we are not overly cautious about eating vietnamese street food. I never would expect the food to be that dirty as if everything in Viet Nam is contaminated here by pollution. But, unless I see them cutting the meat directly on the sidewalk pavers I will continue eating it. I don’t expect everything sold on the street to be sterile.
Totally Disagree with eating the same food all the time, variety is the spice of life; if you eat 🍜 every day, you gonna get sick of it , you are not A nutritionist .
Great tips. The problem is , if you practice all or even some of the advice mentioned in the video, you'll starve . Vietnamese food vendors are notoriously known for not practicing hygiene . They probably don't even know how to spell it in Vietnamese. Vietnam may be a developing country, but the majority of its people still live and eat as if they have just crawled out of a hole.

It can yummy and healthy, but depends on where you eat. It’s quite a mixed bag

@@vuelee5313 No, it is NOT organic. They rent drones to apply pesticides because they cannot afford to lose out on their harvest.

It’s still fast food. I have them, but very rarely. There are good, clean Vietnamese food, you just gotta know which ones 💯👍
Are there any clean/sanitary higher end organic restaurant or supermarket options in hcmc?

dirty food dirty women well we all love it,we all go too die anyway.
😂 c’est la vie eh
No food in Vietnam doesn't safe they don't have FDA check before sale
The street food yea, doesn’t seem so 😂
Definitely avoid the ice in Southeast Asia. The small food stands next to the roadside must be dirty as bikes and cars rolled by.
I was thinking that, all the dust. And sometimes the ingredients not even covered up
But if you can afford it, tip 100k vnd for food delivery. It makes the driver’s day.
🙏 thank you so much

i know a few girls drive for be, they said they make around 200k a day.

Everything in Vietnam is contaminated due to pollution due to industralization. And this is coming from a Vietnamese.
Yes 😂
dirty but tasty 😂
but I still ❤ SGN
@@ILoveSGN Let's see if you will still say dirty but tasty when you're in the hospital hooked up to feeding tubes. LOL

@@ILoveSGN It takes years for health problems to develop. You'll find out eventually if Vietnamese street food was clean or not.

are you also referring to the fake poisonous meat products and fake chemical eggs sold by China?
including the baby formula with leaches.
Đừng nên ăn đồ ăn bán ngoài đường và tiệm nhỏ đó vì nó không được vệ sinh .

There are good ones. That’s why I mentioned to seek out a few favourites and stick to them, especially if you’ll be living there
