Great video. I had one question whenever I have triplet melodies do I need to place kicks hats 808 on the triplet grid? Because on normal grid settings it doesn’t sound on time
That’s valid so yeah normally I just lay the drums down like a normal melody, but triplet can work too if that sounds better. Make sure the bpm is pretty low though like 110-130

Hello, I have a possibly strange question. At 1:35 you raise the second part of the melody by 5 semitones. But doesn't the melody go beyond the frame of one key after that?
How then to adjust the tune for vocals? What key should I indicate for such melodies?
Yes, I do adjust it more after, and for vocals, I recommend between A# and D#
