I have never watched a full event before. I had no idea that on top of being incredibly strong, you have to have serious cardio, serious core strength, and hand-eye coordination that could literally lead to losing a limb if you're off by a tiny bit or if malfunction of equipment occurs. Looks so close to cutting of their feets with each strike, and they usually don't use any feet protection (though I think that's a requirement in regional qualifiers with less experienced competitors)

Underhand chop was shown on TV on Sunday mornings in my home state of Victoria in Australia many years ago.It was basically one of the filler sports when they weren't talking about A.F.L. on ''World of Sport''.Great stuff.

They're actually starting to make UK championships of Timbersports, but by in large it's nowhere near as popular as it is in the USA.
Ended up here from looking up information on a hat I got on a scout event back in 2019 and I wasn’t disappointed.

This is pretty popular in Oregon. When I went to Oregon State University, they actually had their own timber sports training complex
